I fail to see how the signing of Jamison keeps Lebron in Cleveland. He's 33 years old. How long can he possibly play at peak performance before his numbers drop. They clearly have a win it all now mentality, but their will still have to be changes in order to keep Lebron long term.

I dont see how he could hurt them though, even if hes reduced to a jump shooter rebounder. Big Z wasnt providing a positive impact to their team anyways.

Well that's fine but he's just as capable a scorer. He can come to the Cavs and provide Lebron with his first real scoring threat that will occasionally draw a double team. This let's Lebron do maore creating.

If anything, Lebron can depend on Jamison to keep the Cavs in games and then take over in the fourth.

I really do think he makes them a much stronger team.
He's nowhere near as capable a scorer. Lebron's already unstoppable and all Jamison's going to do is take shots away from him, IMO.

We may agree to disagree, but one thing is for sure: The Cavs were trying to get some help to keep Lebron from signing somewhere else. Considering the Knicks just made enough cap room to sign two top-tier free agents, they failed miserably. Amare would probably have been enough, but not Jamison.

I think Jamison will fit in fine. I don't believe he's a guy who will care if he's only scoring 12-15 a game. He's a garbage man deluxe with a decent jumper who doesn't really need plays run for him. He'll give the Cavs some interior scoring presence when Shaq's out.

Sure he's a below average defender, but in a strong team-oriented defense can be hid for stretches much like Barry or Finley were. The only issue is whether it's too late in the year for him to find his niche.

The major problem with the Wiz is that they had three beta dogs and no alpha dog, and unfortunately the gun-toting beta thought he was an alpha. Jamison and Butler should both be great pickups for their new teams.

nice pick-up for the cavs but I don't think it will help the cavs to get over the top a win a championship......
