spurs just need to win acouple games in a row and im happy.....
Which has hardly happened all year long man, we usually go on a ten plus winning streak every year and get hot, except this year!
Spurs did have two fairly decent streaks started, but their momentum nosedived each time because Popovich "decided" it would be a good idea to bench Tim Duncan. Just goes to show how stupid Popovich is to mess with a winning streak and also the team's fledgling confidence and chemistry that was just starting to emerge. They were showing signs of being a dominant team in the west, the bench was tops in the league (affording the starters AMPLE rest time) but that wasn't good enough for Poppa , he had to go and put his stamp on things.
