If you watched the game, the refs gave LA every call down the stretch in regulation, and were successful getting them back in it after falling down by 9 with about 6 minutes left. The Heat didn't shoot a single free throw in the last three minutes, while Bryant lived on the line.
Still, the Heat hit every shot they took in OT and were able to pull it out. The reason LA lost is because Bryant took everybody else out of the game. Literally he was waving off Gasol on the last few trips down the court. Yes, he was hitting shots, but the Laker offense was a one-on-one show, so when he missed a couple in OT, that was it. Bryant was playing the same way he did when Kwame and friends were his teammates. Nothing ever changes with this guy.
Bryant loses way more games for LA than people realize.
