Good numbers. Manu won't say no. This way, he will finish on the Spurs. I suspect he would take veteran's minimum after Year 3 to play on, if the Spurs are still contending.
If the Spurs can get someone to bite on Richard Jefferson next year (hey, is there a team that wants to run the Princeton Offense and needs a perfect fit?) and if Splitter comes in, and if they get a decent SF (Travis Outlaw?) in the offseason to go along with Manu, they would not be out of contending status.
