The Finley effect works in Boston.

Celtics now 0-2 since Finley has played.

I hope Finley enjoys rotting away near the end of a team's bench who's in even worse shape than the Spurs. Honestly, if you account for the Celtics' being in the East, they're actually worse than the Spurs. If Parker were healthy, I'd definitely favor the Spurs in a series against the Celtics. I'm not sure I've ever seen a team fall faster. They came out this season looking like a juggernaut and since then they've progressively gotten worse to the point now where they're a flat out mediocre team. I believe they're .500 since their 23-5 start. However unlikely, the Spurs still have a chance to contend next season, because their big three is still championship caliber; the Celtics' isn't.

Finley got his ring, and had his chances. Maybe it was the injury, either way he had his chances. We got enough brick layers on this team.

The Celtics have been really poor lately. Finley may not have made the best choice (but at least he'll play).

    Thanks again for leaving, Fin.

While 10 pts/3 rebs in 14 minutes looks nice, 8 pts and 2 rebs came in the final four minutes as Fin keyed a spirited effort to reduce the final margin of defeat from 29 points to 20 points.

His first half shift bridging the end of the first and the start of the second coincided with the Celtic deficit increasing from 9 points to 18 points.
