We won inspite of the horrible calls by the refs while being on the road.... These weren't even close to being good calls...

There were crap calls both ways. And I may not have been watching on a 1000 ft screen (hopefully I can change that by going to a GTG to cheer on the Spurs sometime soon) but the replay on TNT seemed to show that his foot stopped just short of the line. In the end, it was a series of bungles by the refs that made this both an exciting and painful game to watch. I'm just glad the Spurs showed their championship mentality by pulling an uncharacteristic 87% from the line. Tim said it best when he talked about the first couple falling and everything else getting easier from that point on. Call the bad Boykins call a wash when you compare it against other bad calls the Spurs got. Especially that bogus Tim Duncan foul-out call.

I saw Martin collecting his sixth foul knocking out Parker on that rebound before Boykins hit the shot, so all's fair...

That was the famous Willie Anderson play. What a lot of people don't realize is that the three point line is part of the two point territory, and if you even graze it, it's a two. Willie Anderson used to do that constantly for SA. Boykins rolled his shoe tip just a bit onto the line on his release. Trust me. We were watching the game on a 20 foot movie screen. It was a two.

That's funny. Willie would just have that slack-jawed "what?" look when the ref wouldn't put both hands up. Shandon used to do the same thing in Houston, too.

I didn't think he did much of anything in Miami besides letting his big brother bring South Beach chicks back to his pad.

Even if it was a three, let us not also forget the arm bar lock on Ginobili non-call after the love tap on Melo. What goes around come around.

Ditto. LOVE how Timmy hugged his team, laughed it off, and walked off the court like a man.

there were several calls even the one on Horry
against bryan Russell (horse ) the ball was out of hands after the shot. But whatever, you never really hear The spurs players or fan about the calls unless they are so blatently obvious such was the case last night. We just need to keep winning ball games and fight whatever they want to throw at us.
    Thank you NBA

Love your enthusiasm SSF but there's at least one more game in this round. I don't want the Spurs to come out on Wednesday believing it's going to be a formality - it has never worked out well for us.

The night was full of BS calls by the refs. But, it was equally spread onto both sides. The only person I felt bad for was Ginobili. They (Camby & Carmelo) wouldn't give the guy a break. Denver played dirty the whole night and still had the balls to and whine at the end. Oh, well they got slapped at the end, even without Duncan. It was a well deserved win.

Keep looking for solutions warrior. Blame everyone else.

Whatever you do, don't advocate doing things that would actually give you a chance in to win (like double-teaming Duncan, Bruise-a-Bruce, etc).

I'm a sold out Spurs fan. This is my best non biased opinion. Boykins did make a three. He was behind the line.
How ironic. All Karl's whining about calls did was make refs the refs nitpicky and distracted- so much so that they totally missed the one call that matttered. Unfortunate but hey, so was 0.4!

all i see on this thread is whining about the refs...lol i mean you are so hard on Karl for whining about them.
Dude, there is a big difference between fans whining about the refs, and a Head Coach whining about the refs.
