he asked questions and the dems were lieing. so he had to say no.
which provisions are you talking about?
he asked questions and the dems were lieing. so he had to say no.
this is the second (no, third) time republicans have been pwned by obama
Maybe, but the dude's terrible acting was on par with a Cinemax soft core movie, right before the make-up sex scene. It's a self-PWN, it's a Howard Dean moment, and deserves a good LOL.
Let's be honest Marcus... they got pwned because the money was going to a few corporations they don't like, rather than ones they do.
If the same amount of money was going towards, say, the military, or faith-based initiatives, or some other sort of Republican-backed venture, the Republicans would mostly be in support.
Let me get this straight. It's your contention that the Republicans do not like insurance companies and don't have buckets of money thrown at them by same?
Don't think I can buy that.
what specifically were the dems lying about?
They probably do; I'm guessing just not as much as the money thrown by Dems. *shrug*
My general point is that I doubt either party really cares much about the average person. Individuals in each party do, but as a whole, I doubt it.
That some do not prefer, for the moment. Of course, now those companies will become some of the best supporters of left-wing politicians in order to protect their expanded, captive, and enslaved customer base. Now that it's been established that individuals can be compelled to purchase the products of large companies, by law, it will not be surprising to see other companies line up to support federal "reform" in their industries.
True, conservative politicians embrace national state expansion that is in line with their preferences, as opposed to the now ancient conservative preference of a limited federal state. If the same amount of money was going towards, say, the military, or faith-based initiatives, or some other sort of Republican-backed venture, the Republicans would mostly be in support.
Can you even name a single insurnace think tank or lobbying group that contributed to this guy or are you just making assumptions.
You ers probably don't eve know where to look but your talking as if for a position of authority on the subject.
I am not saying that the above is the case but at least educate yourself about whats really going on.
Do you for example who wrote the language of the bill and no I don't mean 'the insurance lobby.'
This whole thing just reeks of a bunch of frightened children. This isn't righteous anger that I am getting the vibe of.
When you educate yourself, ' er,' I'll be glad to continue this discussion.
Blah blah blah. Point out any mistakes I make. This general bluster is lame but I think its pretty irresponsible and intellectually dishonest to just make blanket claims. I am sure he is getting lobbied out of his ass three ways to Sunday but youre making claims as to his motivations when you don't even know who they are.
But that seems par the course especially with you. Just about it and don't even bother trying to get the whole truth.
Yawn. Yeah, blanket statements are reserved for your use only.
Which blanket statement am I using? I am making a concerted effort to talk about specifics.
