yup tbh. stevenson on the court > barea being on the court. i dont care if we got him running in point
I expect JJ to be searching for his car keys tonight. And Najera to play defense like he has just been accused of murder in a really bad soap opera.
yup tbh. stevenson on the court > barea being on the court. i dont care if we got him running in point
Mavs playoff rotation should be as follows:
C: Haywood - 32, Dampier - 16
PF: Dirk - 42, Najera - 6
SF: Marion - 28, Butler - 22
SG: Butler - 14, Terry - 25, Stevenson - 9
PG: Kidd - 38, Terry - 10
come on coach, can't you put roddy in there anywhere?
I guess you can give the backup PG minutes to him, but then that cuts into minutes for Butler/Stevenson.
I think this is a must win for the Mavs. The Spurs are playing really good right now so the pressure is on the Mavs to win. If the Mavs can't beat the Clippers in Dallas, then I would have some doubts about them in the playoffs. They need to man up and not pussy out tonight against the Clippers.
cuts the minutes of the steadiest shooter you've got on roster? what re ed logic this is...
which requires the premise that everyone stays or returns healthy come playoffs. Get a mirror to take a look at how re ed you are while having a thorough review on the past games to check how many of them they played fully healthy.
indeed. a life without nachos is not one worth living.
JET only gives up 30 when confronting the true freaks like Kobe who has to be given the monster points anyways. you are nuts if you think JET plays worse defense than JJ midget Barea.
lol, The Mavs and Nachos have one thing in common, they both crack under pressure

even some true s like allanon once made you look like a whining clown. you're only capitulating by doing this you s my ing loser.
IMO even if Terry is off on his jumper, he runs the two-man game so well with Dirk that you have to have him in there in crunch time. It opens up the floor and gets Dirk easier looks.
At least our head Liberal-Republican Governor is pro Cannabis yo.

No disagreement there. Perry is a head.
Marion is a situational role player at this point in his career.
I think Dallas' crunch-time lineup should be either
Big: Haywood-Dirk-Butler-Terry-Kidd
Small: Dirk-Marion-Butler-Terry-Kidd
still you don't get a clue. Terry creates rooms for Dirk to launch jumpers because the opposing has to arrange defense on JET despite how good/bad he shoots. With Marion in/JET out, the opponents only need to prevent Marion from getting to the very limited zones where he can score, thence Dirk has to take on more pressure when jump shooting. Even if you set 4 rebounders along with Dirk it'd still be a tough job to get offensive rebounds anyways, especially during crunch minutes. You are a re if you think they can play the ball this way - missing shots and retrying with rebounded balls. You cant live on offensive rebounds anyway, if you manage to miss a couple shots during crunch minutes you'll have to accept the loss.
Dallas' offense breaks down frequently when they have to go iso-heavy. Teams respect Terry's shot and it opens up the floor for the other four guys even when he's not hitting. IMO, the odd man out in crunch time is either Haywood or Marion depending on the matchups and whether they want to go small and score (Dirk) or try and grind out a win with stops in the half court (Haywood).
we aren't talking about JJB, are we? you would be nuts if you think JET was nothing but a shooter, such players can only find their slots at the end of Mavs bench like Matt Carroll but JET is now a pivot in rotation, which proves how wrong you ing head are. You don't need JET to take the shots himself but he takes a share of the opposing defense pressure which is needed, you have to put him there as you're punting the game on shots.
They got Haywood to clean up dribble penetration. I don't have a problem with Kidd checking Billups in the final five minutes of a playoff game. You think Ty Lawson is going to be on the floor in that scenario?
