So what the is this?

A teen movie with pseudo super heroes with different bright multicolored trendy hairstyles along with exotic superpowered weaponry including projected swords and the use of guitars to make fireballs or some where 8 dumped losers for some reason or another want to beat the out of this kid who apparently is initially really weak but somehow gains these superpowers and fights back to not look like a pussy in front of this girl but got the girl being weak in the first place and now wants to change into a tough guy to impress her despite attracting her with his weakness in the first place? And why is this guy trying so hard when this chick has been with 8 superpowered bat crazy, possibly diseased ridden psychos in the first place?

I don't understand kids, I'm glad I never was one.
