With K-mart out, Dirk should have an even more dominating game. K-Mart is the best guy to throw at Dirk even though Dirk still gets his points against him. Without Kmart tho, that should makes Dirk's night even more monsterous.
Obstructed view seats were a slick deal.![]()

Looks a lot like Rafer Alston.
Are you seriously saying that you would rather the Spurs go 30-52 every year and be a lottery team than lose in the second round or conference finals?
Well back then the Mavs were owned by Ross Perot Jr who just considered the franchise another one of his holdings and didn't care whether they won or lost. That's not the case anymore.
One question - If the Mavericks lose this game and Roddy gets DNP'd or just garbage time minutes, do we as fans have a legitimate "Fire Carlisle" campaign to start?
Uh, no, I'm not saying that.
Yes. He's not going to score 40 points against every team because the Warriors are awful - but he deserves whatever minutes JJB is getting. I would like to see Roddy get 15-20 mpg in the playoffs, depending on matchups.
Hopefully Carlisle has held his minutes down so he'll be fresh in the playoffs and there is no rookie wall to contend with. Best-case scenario they will unleash him the same way the Mavs unleashed Devin Harris in 2006 after he was a reserve in the regular season.
Losing a clinching game in the Finals hurts more than regular season loss # 61, but only an idiot would rather be a lottery team than one of the final two teams standing, or a team that annually wins 50+ games and usually wins a series.
Ask a Wizards fan right now if they would prefer a team whose basement is a first-round exit and whose ceiling is making the conference finals.
I never argued the contrary. I argued it is much more painful almost getting over the hump and not than never even seeing a hump.
I liked Beaubois playing alongside Barea.
The stats showed 3 guard lineups aren't that bad defensively as long as you have a center protecting the rim.
Sorry, not all of us hopped on the Spurs bandwagon after the 1997 draft.
