Here is a reason to trade Tony that most have not thought about. TP is the premiere free agent for the class of 2011. Because of this he might try and command a max contract which I do not think the Spurs will want to do.

TP has stated he will not "babysit" the Spurs after Timmy is gone, he wants to compete for a championship. It could be here or somewhere else, but I think money would just be a convenient excuse for him to leave.

That said, I'd rather have TP than Lopez and Harris
I really like the idea of him coming back this season and helping us avoid the dreaded scoring drought, I have not given up hope we can make some noise!

i've been calling for the Parker trade for many, many, many months. the fact that we're beating teams like the Cavs, Celtics and Rockets without him just adds fuel to my argument.

now, don't say i'm a Parker hater. i think he's a good guy and very skilled. but i would trade him for a good big man in a heartbeat. basketball is a game of big men.

i rather trade parkers ass asap cause we know the FO is not going to throw a max contract at him and the possibility of him walking for nothing hurts us in the rebuilding process in a sign n trade scenario...

i blame those losses on pops stupid rotation when closing the quarters allowing other teams to come back into the game eating away the leads the starters built....

Maybe TDMVPDPOY should pe ion to be the next Spurs head coach because after all, coaching in the NBA is a no brainer.

The reason teams come back is because of the worthless craptacular bench. Its a damn shame when only one player comes to play.
