I liked it. At his lowest point you show him the error he made. Don't let him think about it for a few days and then show him. Address it on the spot and then later on. It was a good teaching tool for the team..
I completely agree with this. I hate to say this, but before last weeks show, I REALLY hated o. After watching how he handles his team, minus the bull "It's my birthday, and those are my dollars -- happy birthday on three!", I would choose o as my coach. (in my hypothetical fantasy world where I am not a fat lazy mormon)

I still think he's a , but that was a classy move by a good coach, imo.

Tell me how better is to force a fighter and show him one move just after the fight and not let him get through it and show him later?

    I don't get it.

Also harassing fighters is not good coaching. You talk about mentality of a fighter? That's not the way IMO.

The fighter doesn't know what the the coach/veteran fighter knows about losing OR winning. If the fighter thinks he knows better and wants to wallow in sadness and wait a few days...I'm not interested in coaching that fighter. I would not take my attention away from another fighter to teach to that kid when I made myself available in the most crucial moments and was ignored. o showed a lot of patience and didn't back down from trying to help him even with all the whining. But that's probably what happens when you pick tough guys for your team instead of aspiring professional fighters.

Why do not talk with a guy and listen to him not force him to learn in that specific moment?

he knew he screwed up nad now what? Mercyfull o will show him how to win now by showing one tip?

I wonder how o would have reacted had his trainers told him to remain in the octagon after his fight(s) against Chuck so "we can show you how to not get KO'd again".

    :rofl

I thought what o did was good. That fighter will now remember that moment. He should have just gotten over himself and learned instead of wallowing in self pity. The best time to learn lessons are when the wound is fresh, IMO. I can see why people would think differently, but I disagree.

He's one of the meat heads I mentioned in another post, but I actually liked that he kept trying to clear his name and not be known as a "theif." Funny how after the fight he sounded like a white guy instead of a thug.

I'd like o as a coach, but I'd rather train with Chuck's team. Does that make sense?

Also, is this the first season with an openly gay fighter in the house. Oh, YOU KNOW the one.

So when is this showdown between Dana and Liddell? I saw it on a commercial but haven't kept up with this season so don't know if it's already been shown or what. If it has been shown please explain

Pretty surprised no one has talked about this season much. I think its been pretty good so far.

I really feel for Nick, but there was no way he was winning that fight gimp so he made the right call to withdraw form the tournament. Still pulling for Yager all the way.

I'm guessing next week is when we learn what happened to o, this season has been plagued with one bad turn after another. It's basically been a double elimination compe ion so far, and I'm not really impressed with anyone so far except for Court and the Aussie. I thought Casey had a chance because of his heart, but he sucks.

It seems pointless to bring Rich in as an official coach after most of the season is done, there's only a few episodes left and no way to generate the buzz for the coach's match. The event sold out tho, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I love the fact that Court is a Utah boy. I'm forced to cheer for him.

Yager is a head -- I hope someone breaks his leg off.

Wow, that was the most entertaining episode of all. Fights were not that great but the emotional part was.

McCray vs Noke was a good match, I was anti-McCray and thought Noke would end up in the finals. But damn, McCray showed a lot of heart and responded well to all of o's instructions ("punish him! crushing elbow!"), so now I'll be rooting for him and Court the rest of the way.

Jake Sheilds pointing fingers like a at the end of the show, can't wait for him to get wrecked in the UFC.

Yeah they advertised it like it was but they stretched it out until next week. I don't get why o has to leave with like 2 weeks left? You can't hype a Rich/Chuck fight with 2 weeks left and it throws o's teams training into a mess..

WTF Yager. WTF WTF WTF. I never expected him to do that. I do hope he smashes Uscola in the Finale though (If they don't make this fight happen WTF).

Kicking o off right now is a total move on Dana's part. Rich Franklin isn't going to promote his fight in one ing episode and now a fighter has lost his coach before the biggest fight of his life. Its just ing stupid and such a move.

Chuck LIddel annoys the out of me, too.

o showed class coming back. I was thinking that he was so mad he was not gonna come back but he did and his team which all said he "Did a great job with them all season" appreciated it. I really think the old o would have blown up at Dana bad about that one. His relationship with Dana is decent again.. You could see he was biting his damn tongue big time in that meeting and just took a deep breathe and walked away. It is bull that he is told you gotta go with like 5 days left to shoot..

That was one of those moments where if o had went off, his relationship with Dana could have gone south again really bad. So i think he just deicided to leave it alone and walk away..

I didn't like o saying Yager was a pussy for not risking his body, but then turns around and says he won't take a chance with his own health stepping into the ring with Chuck when he needs surgery. Seemed really odd and threw me out of the whole show, then followed it up with just driving off without saying anything to the team lol. move by Dana, no reason for it at all since you can't hype a match in 1 damn show.

Yager was prolly the most exciting fighter to see in the ring, but if you keep pressure on him eventually he'll breakdown like we saw. Uscola seemed like a really good fighter with a lot of heart, but I didn't see anything special out of him in those losses he had. Not rooting for either, both failed me.

Hilarious fall out from the show --> http://www.cagepotato.com/jamie-yage...internet-fight
