Lakers just coasting, nothing to see here.
Lakers just coasting, nothing to see here.
It really isn't an issue until the playoffs for the Lakers. What does LA have to prove in the regular season at this point? Most of the media is on the Cavs bandwagon and that's not going to change.
If the Lakers are playing with no sense of urgency in the postseason then they're ed. I'm not convinced that's going to happen though. Most of the West is playing terribly outside of Phoenix and even the biggest Suns homer wouldn't seriously argue that the Suns would knock off the Lakers in a seven game series.
I haven't been following NBA news much. How is Bynum doing in his recovery?
lol once again the 1 game superstar strikes again. pachulia 10 and 10 off the bench

That sure was the case last year![]()
You basically admit you guys are only good for the Western Conference teams.
Enjoy your WCF Championship banner![]()
Bynum>Gasol...I seriously hope Pau is not trying that hard right now cuz hes looking like 2008 Pau right now, in sissy euro act is getting old. He better play like he did last year & not 2008
BTW why isnt Sasha getting any playing time?...I dont give a if he got into an argument with Shaw, atleast he tries on D & plays with some effort..Its a shame that garbage like farmar & morrison even step onto the hardwood..When Farmar is no longer wearing purple & gold, im popping a bottle of rose.

Sasha Vujacic: “I’m in the doghouse?”
March 31st, 2010, 3:45 pm
ATLANTA — Sasha Vujacic said he had a talk with Phil Jackson in Houston over the weekend about being out of the rotation, being told that he wouldn’t play unless “the team is down by 20.”
Then Vujacic stood in the Lakers’ locker room Wednesday and said to reporters in apparent bewilderment: “I’m in the doghouse?”
When speaking to reporters, Jackson cited Vujacic’s argument with assistant coach Brian Shaw on the bench early in the fourth quarter Friday night in Oklahoma City as an obstacle to Vujacic playing again.
Said Jackson: “He hasn’t atoned yet for that error. … When he does, he’ll be back in the good graces. There’s a promise he made before the season that he hasn’t fulfilled.”
Jackson would not specify the promise — and Vujacic pleaded ignorance on that matter — but Jackson suggested it was somewhat financially tied. Whether it’s just taking Shaw out to dinner, Vujacic has no plans to improve relations.
When I asked Vujacic again about the incident with Shaw in Oklahoma City, Vujacic said: “It’s typical coach-player disagreement sometimes. It’s sometimes part of game, I think. Not a big deal. If you want to make a big deal out of it, go ahead.”
Vujacic had suggested Jackson told him the argument was “nothing serious.” Vujacic also said he was somewhat satisfied that Jackson specified to him that he’s unlikely to play: “At least now I know what my role is. … I was trying to find that out all season long.”
Said Vujacic, using noteworthy references to “they” instead of “we”: “I’m out of the rotation. If they’re winning, I’m not playing. If they’re losing and the team is down by 20 or whatever points, I’m going to get a few minutes.”
Shannon Brown has moved ahead of Vujacic in the rotation this season.
Vujacic has one more year on his contract after this, but he could be a candidate to be traded.
That sure was the case in 2008 and Bynum played last year. The Lakers would not have beaten Denver last season playing DJ 15min a game and Pau 46.
Why are we talking about last year when it's 2010 anyways? Bynum is the Lakers best post-option after Kobe and their best post-defender/anchor.
I actually read a really article on Bynum today:

Does a good job putting things in perspective.
How do the Hornets beat us and then lose to the 15-game losing streak Wizards?
Aye.
