tony parker can still get to the basket at will, but with that being said he cant defend, he cant shot a j or a 3, and he gets burnt alot. hill>parker
Tony carried this team last season, this year, things haven't clicked for him, and thankfully Manu is doing the carrying this year, but even if Tony and Hill come back and get on some roll, our problem is our big men. And that includes RJ and Timmy. If Tim had played like did against Gasol he could've taken the 2nd half off. Instead he began slowly and then Pop sat him down during a time when the Grizz big men were in foul trouble. Rebounding and interior defense have been killing the Spurs all year long.

There's one common thing that all the parker haters have in common, not one of them is a poster who consistently brings solid takes. Not one of them is a quality poster.

The best part about their "parker sucks!," "Pop sucks!" rants is that none of them can actually bring relevant stats, info, or anything remotely insightful to back up any of their claims. They show up after a loss and about A) Popovich or B) Parker. They don't know about the game, they just want to type bull out on Spurstalk and see if they can get a bunch of other clowns, who dont know the game either, to agree with them.

I have seen people write 1-3 and now 0-2. There is some real re s around as both those numbers are wrong.
Tony Parker is a ing Championship player. Is that how you treat a player that has helped us get 3 rings?
As I said in the game thread these loses are not on Tony Parker at all. This team is very fragile and had a delicate Chemistry going then with George Hill going out it may have been enough to throw it all out of wack again.
We have too many players that Pop continues to play in crunch time that are low BBall IQ players - Mason Jr., Bonner and RJ. RJ the last few games has been very disappointing again. RJ is the only one of those guys that I think can maybe turn it around, but you gotta stop playing Mason Jr. and Bonner in crunch time. I don't need to say anything about Mason Jr., but Matt Bonner can't grab a rebound under any cir stance, he just kills us on the boards and doesn't usually hit shots in the 4th.

but.. we miss george's 3point shot, with george in the line up, manu can drive and kick pass to george for 3.
we miss george's defense as well
if george is healthy then i think we can win. i still advocate that we start george the tony parker coming of the bench. i like parker to be the spark in the 2nd unit. evident yesterdays game parker can play well with the 2nd unit of blair and bonner.
so no one's to blame here guys. we just need our full roster back healthy come playoff time
