I wasn't going to add any audio commentary from the games in this video, so I had deleted them at first. But youtube muted the video the first time I uploaded it. So I decided to throw in some "background noise" and change the song a little, so that youtube doesn't identify the song and mute it.

But I agree with you, the commentary usually adds more emotion to the video.
I like your Pippen videos btw.

If I don't want Youtube to recognize the music I use I lower the pitch by -.05. It does change the sound ever so slightly but nothing too noticeable and Youtube's audio recognition software can't pick up on the new wavelength.

Adding sound effects and audio commentary is more challenging when you're using a song with lyrics because sometimes you want to match the clips to the lyrics (which I notice you did with the still images) and the audio commentary can overshadow that. It's hard to strike that balance. That's kind of why I prefer to use orchestrated tracks these days.
