I wouldn't be surprised if he opts out this summer (family + Spurs, in that order) and plays in 2012. Sounds like a bone he's throwing to the Argentinean team supporters.

Also, right there is why it's great that TP is back and wasn't traded. TP helps take a lot of pressure off of Manu, allowing him to be more effective. Couldn't have come at a better time actually. Hopefully, Manu is able to rest and have less heavy lifting on the court, thus allowing him to stay in rhythm and (at the same time) fresh for the playoffs.

Sounds like he's also thinking championship.
