NBA has been catching alot of flak about time between games in the first round. Maybe they are bowing to the heat...

Every other day after Game 2, in the first round?

Maybe that's nothing new, but it seems that way . . .
So far Lakers/Thunder is the only series not like that...

    Game 2 - Tue April 20 OKC at L.A. Lakers 10:30PM TNT
    Game 3 - Thu April 22 L.A. Lakers at OKC 9:30PM TNT
    Game 4 - Sat April 24 L.A. Lakers at OKC 9:30PM ESPN/R
Game 5 * Tue April 27 OKC at L.A. Lakers TBD TBD TBD
Game 6 * Fri April 30 L.A. Lakers at OKC TBD TBD TBD

Good that it starts Sunday and at night. I believe it'll be the last series to get underway, so it gives Hill as much time as possible to rest. If he doesn't play game one, with game two not being until Wednesday, he'll have gotten a full week of rest while only missing one game.

    They play every other day.

Favorable more to the Thunder than the Lakers...

Good, no NBATV bull like last year. Games 5 and 6 are TBD, though I would assume they wouldn't do that for a game late in the series. But you never know.

So the Spurs and Mavs get 2 days off between Games 1 and 2 and play every other day for the rest of the series; Lakers and Thunder play every other day for the first four and get 2 days off for the remainder of the series; and Phoenix and Portland play every other day until after Game 5, where they have two days off in between 6 and 7 (if necessary).

Normally I'd like the Spurs to have a couple more days in between games as the series wears, but the 2 days between Games 1 and 2 might actually be better with the Hill injury.

It's going to be a tough series, the Mavs are rightfully favorites, but I'm hoping to see that championship core, the Big 3, playing the way they're capable of now that they're relatively healthy.

Whatever the result ... I just don't wanna feel like I did last year: like my team just got mercifully put down.

I would like to know the name of the closest parking area. Me and the fiancé plan on parking and sprinting inside to our seats haha :-)
There is parking literally across the street from the entrance, and you have to have a parking pass for it (sorry do not know lot #). I always give the guy a $20 and he lets me park there!

As for seating, I know you want to sit behind the bench, but if you are going for 2 games, check out the Platinum seating for one game. It is really nice there.

Does anyone local know if Sean/Bill Land will be covering these games? I hate watching the national coverage. I prefer the homers.
