Kidd was the best defensive guard for the Mavs tonight. Heck, he was their best defensive player and second best overall. Not sure how are the Spurs supposed to make him a defensive liability.

With Hill injured and Parker not himself this year, I don't see how they can.

He looked good because He didn't have to guard his man all the way to the hoop, those Dallas bigs really patrolled the paint, TP needs to get back to the TP that could score in the face of any Big, or draw them and drop it off to TD or someone...

Parker looks like he has a lot of respect for the Mavs shotblocking.

And Damp and Haywood doesnt have to worry about foultrouble. In the past Damp always had to take care not to pick up fouls with some lame center backups behind him. That changed now.

Parker used to be really fast. Aging has not been kind to him I'm afraid though he can still score. Just can't humiliate Kidd like he needs to do for the Spurs to win.

He's got plantar fasciitis so he probably won't be right again until next year. Only remedy for it is rest. Hopefully the Spurs will get plenty of that starting in about a week and a half.

Hey the comparison is fair. Neither can drive. Both are good at 3 pointers. Both can defend well and are strong. Both have trouble with quick guards. Obviously Kidd is better but I can see why people can compare the 2.
