I wish I could have seen the card. I went to BWW and they weren't showing it.
Griffin-Bonnar has it's own lore because of the cir stance -- what was on the line for them and the company -- and because you just don't generally see slugfests at LHW.
But what Garcia and Jung displayed ... that was simply unreal. The pace and amount of punishment absorbed and dealt was ridiculous -- I'm not sure how Garcia managed to not dislocate his arm the way he was throwing.
Zombie is straight out of a horror movie. He just keeps on coming. There was one time that he got caught in the second that semi-dropped him and late in the third where he seemed to buckle a bit from some body blows, but it was just amazing how he could trade, bide his time while absorbing, and then explode on Garcia when you'd think he'd need to recover.
Garcia's a stud. I don't know how he didn't go to sleep a couple of times there or how the he managed to throw some decent haymakers on the verge of going to sleep. But the guy definitely got the worst of it -- Zombie won that fight.
Regardless of outcome, those two are warriors and their fight will be talked about for years and years to come. It was sloppy as and nothing you'd want to show to any aspiring fighters -- for fear that they'd pick up or emulate those habits -- but for pure entertainment value ... it' going to be hard to beat -- great, great throwdown.![]()

I had Faber over-rated coming into this fight and Aldo sure backed that up. He was never in any danger in this fight. I don't think Faber even landed one hard shot. That was the most brutal display of chopping a mans legs out i have ever seen
Urijah got worked. My dad was watching the fight too and he asked me if "that Brazilian guy was trying to torture him?"
But even my pops recognized Urijah is tough as nails.
That ain't gonna be right for a month..
Man the leg kicks were crippling and the marks show it. Faber has a lot of heart. When aldo had the crucifix i thought it was over
Can this count as my prediction? I didn't know we did WEC stuff, and I knew Aldo was going to finish Faber. That being said, I would've picked Brown to win too... So I guess I would've gone 1-1, and that wouldn't have changed a damn thing.
Disregard this .
aldo showed mercy in round 5
It sure looked that way. Urijah was flopping like a fish outta water when he got kicked in the later rounds.
Finally got to watch the fights online... Damn, who can stop Aldo? I hate Faber with a passion, that y arrogant , but I actually felt bad for him and was hoping that he could mount SOME kind of offense/defense. I was glad to see that Aldo showed mercy, kinda, because he could've seriously injured Faber.
Ben Henderson is a stud also -- Donald Ceroni (or however you spell his name) is no slouch, and Ben stomped him. That was great to see.
Garcia/Zombie... Freaking awesome. Mad props to Garcia, the dude takes a beating and keeps on coming. ty decision, but I was hoping for Garcia to win anyhow. Tough showing by Mike Brown, that was not what I was hoping for/expecting.
*edit* I forgot to mention that I hate Aldo now that I know his trainer is the same butt that Anderson Silva has. Piss on these got Brazilians and there got "pound for pound" best fighter bull . Yes, I'm jaded/jealous/a .
Faber's leg looks like a leg again, albeit one that has been run over by a small automobile repeatedly.

That is just brutal. Couldn't have happened to a bigger . Well, it could've happened to Lesner, which would've ruled.
