On my 6th try, it worked. Whenever Spurstalk is down, thoughts of Mavs fans or Suns fans hacking the server runs through my head. Then, it's back up and I think to myself, I take this stuff too seriously.

i probably tried 8 or 10 times last night to get on but no luck. My first thought was that mavs fans brought the site down with an attack.

I thought it was my virus infested computer. Glad I wasn't the only one. Came back like 4 times..till i gave up.
Didn't even know it was down. must have been while I was sleeping.

I'm slow--had no idea the site was down. I thought my computer was just jacked up or something. Went to like two different open access computer labs here on campus before it hit me that just maybe ST was having issues.

Apparently SR got some unheard of traffic last night; I actually attempted to register there but when I got cute and decided to make my year of birth 2009, it in' told me I needed a permission slip to post there.
I checked here 3 or 4 times (waiting about an hour in between) and figured whatever bull virus I picked up from downloading the latest Java (for the chat room) was the problem -- that little box just keeps popping up from time to time and I'm about ready to strangle the little son (but it's inanimate, in the computer and I'm pretty sure cutting off its air supply would be useless).
Crack ain't got nothin' on ST . . .

I didn't realize it was down. I refreshed five or six times over the course of the evening, but was mostly writing last night, so it was no big deal.
Glad to hear the baby is doing better now. Scary stuff.

It's not easy to get a site back online once it crashes, props to Slomo.

Yeah it's just needed to be re-booted and would probably have taken 15 minutes to fix, if we knew about it.
