He looks like he can barely move out there. In the series against the Mavs He showed that he still has it, he needs to fight through the fatigue or whatever he has.
Tim needs to realize he isn't playing the Mavs' frontline anymore -- he's making a quick and strong initial move but when he gets to scoring position, he's rushing the finish as if he's got to worry about the shot-block.
There's a part of me that says, "Well, we're only down 10 when it should be much worse. ... Make a couple of adjustments and the Spurs are right back in this thing," but I had a similar feeling for Game 5 of the Mavs series . . .

Using Duncan more on the pick and roll and less on isolation might help get him going. He had a couple of good looks off it in the first half he just missed them. They could try facing him up on the elbow more too. That way he can either take the bank shot or drive into the defense to draw contact.
I agree. The Tim Duncan isolation honestly makes me cringe lately, I cannot stand it.
Now that's the kinda start I was looking for in Game 5.
Let's go boys.![]()
Now this is a game.
From here, all that needs to be addressed is Steve Nash.
of course he can't, he's being crowded not only by the defense but also by the cutter going baseline.
