90 teams have tried. 90 teams have failed. If one team does it in the next 10 tries it will be an odds of 1%.

30% is essentially 3:1 odds with me giving you the three. So now how much did you say you wanted to bet?

The Spurs problems are simple, guard the 3 point shootout that has allowed this Suns team to get back into the game. Let them get the 2 pointer but don't allow any 3 pointers!

If you shut down their 3 point shooters, you allow Nash and Stoudemire and maybe one more guy to get his in the paint but at the end of the day, 2 is much better than a 3.

These aren't the Dallas Mavericks we are facing who was a team that enjoyed getting inside the paint at will and scoring easy buckets of turnovers.

So give them the paint but shut down their 3 point shooting.

This is why what Pop is doing now if so confusing. Everytime we used to beat and dominate the Suns, we pretty much would just let Amare have his 50 or so points inside and just shut down the outside. I don't get this new philsophy he has now of packing the paint leaving those shooters wide ass open beyond the 3?

If the Spurs won 4 in a row to eliminate the Suns now, it would be the most devastating, heartbreaking, soul crushing defeat in NBA history. There would be riots!

Don't worry, though, Suns fans...not gonna happen. The Spurs are 'bout ta get swept tonight.

Dude they would have to enforce martial law in AZ if that were to happen.

    This.

I put 30% because thats how much percent total ac ulated by each superstar in this team has to have a superb game and take over the series.

Lets take a look at this.

-Amare Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (Check)
-Steve Nash Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (Check)
-Goran Dragic Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (Check)

    That leaves us with

-Tim Duncan Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (10%)
-Manu Ginobili Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (10%)
-Tony Parker Has Had An Incredible Game That Has Led To A Win (10%)

Put Them All Together & With The Trio Playing Its Best Ball = 30%

I'm having trouble following this logic. Also, the big 3 for the Spurs have each come much closer to having an incredible game than Amare has.

As a Suns fan, I'll never count the Spurs out until the series is truly over but 30% should make even the most die-hard Spurs fan blush. I might put it in the 10% range but that's solely because of the history of this matchup. And neither the Jazz nor the Hawks have a measurable chance to come back from their deficit. Well, at least not one that does not involve a sniper or something along those lines.

    30%!!!!???

please wake up and face reality:
chance to force game 5: 25%
chance to force game 6: 5%
chance to force game 7: 0.5%
    chance to win series: 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

in other words, not gonna happen

Because we're a veteran team and have guys who have done it before, I'd say we have a shot to win Games 4 an 5, and then it could get interesting.

However, our coach is the one getting annihilated in this series, and that's something even the best players can't overcome.

The Suns essentially run one play all game long - the pick and roll. Yet after three games, Popovich hasn't shown the first clue about how to stop it.

If the Suns were over-achievers, and still had doubts about themselves - maybe. If the Spurs had managed to win Game 2, they might have resurrected some of the old ghosts from previous years. But this Suns team Believes. They are a good team, and they're playing confident and loose. That's not a team that you're going to beat 4 games in a row.

Why wouldn't they be confident? They came into the playoffs playing their best ball. They finished the last 3 months of the season with a .788 winning percentage. The Cavs finished with a .696 record, Utah .694, the Spurs .654, and the Lakers .588. The only team to finish the season as strongly as them is Orlando. If the Spurs somehow managed to win 3 games in a row, you might see Phoenix getting a little tight... but I doubt it. They aren't the team they used to be, and neither are we. That's not being disloyal to the Spurs, it's just the way things are.

Well, at least Utah has had a chance to win a game. The Spurs haven't been anywhere close to winning a game, and they're even more confused (after 3 games) about how to defend the Suns. You don't hear any Utah players saying, "We have to play a perfect game" or "It's demoralizing" - especially not the player with the most heart :-(
Utah doesn't bother saying anything because they realize their fate. It's a self fulfilling prophecy up there.

The Spurs? Well, there's a different history there. But the outcome will no doubt be the same this go around.

From what I've seen, there is virtually nothing indicating the Spurs could come back from this and win four games in a row against this Suns team.

But, to answer the question of the OP: Yeah, the Spurs are probably the team with the best chance to still win their series. Utah is done, and the Hawks simply are a joke in comparison to the Magic.

Gotta disagree we had decent leads in 3 of the games and if we hit our free throws we'd be up 3-0.
