Now begins the crazy time here at Spurstalk.

2. Bring in Splitter
3. Hope to get lucky at the Draft (again)
4. Sign a shooter (Morrow, Ridnour, Korver)

Trade RJ or even just give him away as long as i dont see his coward blank stares anymore. - this piece of is the reason why the Spurs didnt had the liftoff this year. He pissed away the anticipation and emotional investment of a team who actually thought they brought in a reliable player during scoring droughts.

I'll post the same thing I posted last offseason.

Trade Duncan and Manu for younger pieces. Not the popular choice, but the best one. Give them to a fringe team to give your guys a couple more shots and get some good pieces before they have no value.

Trade them to OKC for Green, Harden, etc.
Trade them to Hou for Hill, Budinger, lottery picks, etc.
Trade them to Por for Aldridge, bayless, etc.

Honestly, what is going to be different next year?

The problem is the value for Duncan is down..

I don't think OKC would give up those pieces for him

Same goes for Portland and Houston

Duncan, first of all, is the face of the Spurs. The FO will never let a player with that kind of character go away. If they didnt trade Drob during the tailend of his career, what made you think TD will be traded away?

TP is a 9 yr veteran of the Spurs' complex playbook. He is the perfect player for Pop to run the offense specially when he is fast developing his shooting range.
They would probably even build around him since he operates the same way as TD which is to score on the inside or kick out to open shooters.
