they knew the glass would break at some time, and they should be satisfied that they've already reached WCF. no hope in Lakers for Finals against Celts, even if they get there.

Bynum's importance to the lakers kind of reminds me of Rasho and Nazr's importance during the spurs le run in '05. Just like those two guys the lakers use him as the main cog in the paint to funnel perimeter players to and just like those guys defered to Tim on offense he does that with Gasol. He is very important for the lakers much like Nazr and Rasho was for the spurs on defense but other then that he is nothing special. His situation kind of reminds me of Rasho except he is better then Rasho but just like Rasho he only plays real good when he is the main guy in the paint.

Is it too late for Bynum to be sent to the D-League?

Getting him in foul trouble is the worst thing that can happen to any team.

The zone forced Odom to shoot some shots he didnt want to take but he still attacked the basket pretty nicely a couple of times.

He's a of a basketball player with a super high IQ. Id gladly take him on my team.

btw - I thought Kobe played pretty fantastic tonight. Not to many stupid shots. A couple in the fourth but they were mostly "desperation" shots when the game was over.

If I were 7 foot, I'd be able to collect fouls and bust my knees, too.

As DoK has said, Bynum is very important to the Lakers. They have no chance of winning the le without him playing well. I've said this throughout the playoffs. The Lakers don't need him on offense, but they do need him on defense. Amare is slicing and dicing Pau now.

if he can stay healthy, we roll .... this will be the third year in a row he's not at least 90% healthy during the money time. Damn shame that the best conditioned played on our team is 35 year old Derek Fisher .....
And if I guessed the winning lottery numbers, I'd be a millionaire.

I mean, eventually you just have to accept that someone is injury-prone. (Looking at you Oden...)

Bynum for Noah or Bosh!!! hahahaha we need someone that hustles everynight, not someone that hustles to the nearest gamestop or Ferrari dealership lmao..If LA gets to the finals it'll be a lot easier for him to match up with a less athletic Perkins atleast..Amare is much quicker & more dominant on offense so its pretty hard to limit him under 20-30 points..He just had a really great game yesterday.
