I feel bad for the guy, it's not his fault Leandro Barbosa still for some reason gets 20 MPG.
Shoot, I'd be more concerned if players for my team didn't show any emotion at all after losing. Only way you can play a sport like basketball well is with confidence and passion, and Nash has plenty of both.
What do you call players from the losing team? Losers. Not saying Nash is a "loser" like a put down, but he did lose. I just posted this clip b/c that's the last player that publicly cried from the Rox.
Nash lost and I'm hoping the celtics show the lakers what that feels like soon.

This.
x1000000000
You can bet your sweet bippy that somewhere Terry Porter is cashing Robert Sarver checks and LHAO.
The same. Nash did all he could, I feel for the guy.
Let's all laugh at the guy who's crying! Point and laugh! C'mon people, his pain is funny!
What are you, the high school bully? You know that most bullies are just cowards who are scared of being found out, right? Steve Nash is x100000000000000 the man you'll ever be.
The reason the crying is okay is because it shows that Nash cares. He must be thinking to himself:
"When is all the dedication and hard work I put in going to be rewarded?"
The guy played with one eyed swollen shut and then with a broken nose, and he put his all into every game. He is especially close to this group of guys and just wanted to get there so bad.
I missed that part, I feel bad for the guy, he gave it his all but everyone knew the odds were against them big time in this series. But yeah, I'm not sure why Barbosa got such heavy minutes, I guess they figured he might be hot.
Anyway, good win Laker players.![]()
Thanks, Paul. You're a gracious loser and have been since this series started.![]()
Major props for Nash and it is tough when you make it that far and you do lose. That stings. Because you know the window is closing. You're closer to retirement than being a rookie and even though he's had a great career, not holding up even a Conference le will really bother the dude.
It does earn some serious props for Nash, I think in great part because a lot of people really thought Nash only cared about "having fun" and didn't care about winning as much as guys like Kobe did. I think it shows how much Nash did care about winning and how badly losing feels for him. The guy played amazing this playoffs. Deserves all the credit in the world for how he played, regardless of his age. If he were 10 years younger, he could be proud of the way he played in these playoffs.
i agree, great post.
As a laker fan I have nothing but respect for nash. He is amazing. Not once did i think this would be an easy series for the Lakers. Even with the last 3 pointer he made i was like " no no no..not this again" Nash has the right to be feared as a compe or.
Great series Suns.
If you're laughing at Steve Nash for wanting it so bad that he cried after the game, you don't understand basketball.
