Ill reserve it as fast as I can.
Along with Madden and NBA Live.
Anyone know about what this will cost?

Probably the set price of $300.
They said it will be $299, or $360 (shocker) if you want the home theater capabilities (comes with a remote, wireless media center connection to play content from your PC).
I guess if you like those nappy Final Fantasy type games, knock yourself out with your PS2.
If you dig sports and first person shooters, Xbox is the king.
Id go with the home entertainment hook up just for the fact of getting it hookd up with my sound system.
I wish they would take input on there sports games, I wish they would make them more realistic, like say
spurs vs clippers, spurs go on a run, clippers take a time out, the PA announcer gets excited, and the fans stand the whole 9 yards.
That would be way to hard to program the AI to react like that and EA distributes the sports games evenly to all three consoles and FPS suck on the console, I rented Area 51, it looks wonderful and is probably a very good game but, I didn't even bother to burn it because of the awful console controls and now it's lying on a table for 5 days.
They do it in NCAA 2005.
TPark, I'd imagine we'll see a whole new gaming experience with the new games. I caught the tail end of the MTV thing, the new Tom Clancy Game (Splinter Cell 3 I think it was) looked insane.
Solid Snake is always one step ahead of Sam Fisher(?)![]()
Anyone up for a game of Tecmo Bowl??????
The PS2 had RPGs - that's why they sold so many. Personally, I REALLY don't care about those damn things - RPGs you say? What the are those? Those games where you run around hitting fantasy creatures and using magic to gain a level, and then you do the same damn thing again and again? I'm too impatient for that... And the PS2 had the worst graphics from all of the systems - they're so bad that they can't even make the version of REsident Evil 4 on the PS2 because it's so much worse than the Cube graphically
The XBox was a waste of money. What worthwile games did you get apart form Halo, which they are milking for every single penny it's worth, BTW. I'm serious, soon even those people who buy Master Chief action figures won't buy Halo in the near future. And those other damn games that you get a gun and you go around pressing the trigger not knowing what the you're supposed to be doing (because there really isn't a purpose to the game) just because it's "fun" to blow up stuff.
"Nintendo hasn't made anything worth buying since the 80s"
I don't mind if you talk as long as you don't mind that I'm not listening. Stop being so ignorant. You too E20, "the only games that it has are Barney Strikes Back..." NICE ONE!!!11 I'm glad to see you aren't letting your education get in the way of your ignorance.
Nintendo isn't falling out of the race - in fact, they made the most money from all the companies, despite less sales. Microsoft lost $8 billion, just to earn their console a reputation and hope that the XBox2 will sell. If it doesn't the shareholders wont be happy, and there will not be another entry.
By releasing the Xbox 2 so early, the Nintendo Revolution and the PS3 will be leagues ahead technologically. Also, because they want to be able to play Xbox games on the 360, the XBox live service will have to be the same. It will soon get outdated, and the new Nintendo and Sony services will blow it out of the water (the Nintendo one is free too).
The 360 may use the time before the others are released to its advantage, and get a huge lead, but I doubt it. As soon as the other 2 come out, the Xbox will lose its mystique, as well as sales. This, of course, will be determined by how many developers back up the Xbox.
Well the reason most people bought PS2's is because, well actually this is just me:
I love action games and PS2 provided mostly all the action games while the GC and X-BOX did not really have any.
Action games, eh? I like those too - which ones do you have that are on the PS2 only? I have the Splinter Cell series but they're on all platforms
And BTW, the Xbox "unveiling" on MTV was far from impressive. They really need to do better than that to get me to buy one
Splinter Cell kicks ass. My stealth skills blow!

Halo the movie is in the works. So, I am guessing they are milking it for all it is worth. Can't wait.
Devil May Cry 1/2/3Action games, eh? I like those too - which ones do you have that are on the PS2 only?
Onimusha 1/2/3
God of War
CastleVania: Lament of Innoncence
Chaos Legion
BloodRayne
Dead to Rights
Many more I forget to list and you can't forget about all the fighting games there are to the PS2 and the Metal Gear Solid series. And you can get Splinter Cell for the PS2 aswell.

Do as he says not as he does.
Yea, you're right about that. The PS2 came out early so everyone developed for it, and because of that more people bought it and because of that more people developed for it. So it ended up with the biggest library of games, and if you have that many games, some of them HAVE to be good
...so where was I? Oh yes... The XBox 360??? More like the Xbox 3-SUCKS-TY!!!11one
Goodbye, PC gaming.![]()

^^^ Those graphics are amazing.
I cant wait, i wish I could reserve it NOW!!!
You realize that it is impossible to get that sort of picture quality on a TV screen (not because of the game console but because of the limited resolution and large pixel sizw of your TV set). Except if you had a HD TV set and the console would output a HD signal - Does any console do this?
I will buy and HD set just to achieve those graphics. I better start collecting Big Red cans now.
Ummm...yeah.
The current xbox is hi-def.
