Paul and Williams are still #1 & #2 IMO, but Rondo's rise has been meteoric and it's tough to put a ceiling on him right now.

IDK how you can say Paul > Rondo, Rondo is challenging for best PG in the league right now.

You can very easily say Paul > Rondo. That is not a knock on Rondo, but that is a fact. Now, if Paul's injuries change that, ok, but healthy, Paul is definitely better than Rondo.

    Ghazi is just being silly.

LOL like I said, CP3 getting the 2007-8 Wade treatment. Wait for the man to play next year before knocking him off the top 20 PG list.

+1..I've been defending him too much on this side this year, a lot of people have forgotten his game..

Paul is too ball dominant a lot of the time though, but I'd like to see how he would look with better teammates..their system is extremely slow and he pretty much has to create the majority of his team's offense..

Healthy Paul is like a healthy knee mac or Yao. Happen ain't gonna.

We should expect more of the same from CP3 from here on out. 30-35 missed game, leading the team into 11th place in the West. Letting scrubs take big shots in game 7's... getting shut down by Dahntay Jones... getting outplayed by Billups. etc

No way, no one rivals him in his defense or rebounding.
    This is true.

    I think Dwill is better all-around ...

Anyone who has Paul any lower than two has no credibility. Typical impulsive behavior that has become increasingly commonplace in sports. The guy went from the consensus 4th or 5th best player in the league to somehow being on the fringes of the top five PG's because he had one injury plagued season? Now when he inevitably returns to form next season, people will go back to slobbering over him and acting as if they're shocked by his level of play, like they forgot how good he was/is. We just saw this with Wade in '08, Ginobili in '09 and we're now seeing it with Paul and Parker in '10.

Why do that when we can have the Rockets over, and over, and over again.

I swear, Rockets fans are worse than most Hornets fans. Williams 4th? Just because he's pretty much delivered his seed to your puckered ass holes for the last 5 years doesn't mean you have hate him.

I'd take him with any point guard in the league right now. If you threw the names in this thread into a hat and I pulled out any of those names, I wouldn't look for a replacement and I wouldn't take any trade offers for them. I think Rondo is a smarter player than Rose and that gives him the edge. He's just got more experience. Rose is in that strange place for an NBA player. Until teams learn how to stop him from getting to the rim, he probably won't smarten up in terms of making the right play for the situation.
