Fedor got caught in a submission, it happens, even Lesnar got submitted by Mir, so people don't go crazy over "Lesnar is better than Fedor"
I think Fedor wins this fight 9/10 but we all know why he will take more for this. He should not be fighting in SF at all.

I had a terrible feeling during Fedor's walk out that this could end with a freak submission, not because Werdum is that skilled but because Fedor can't just shake off people with his arms like he did 5 years ago. Sure enough, he thought his punch sent Werdum down and got trapped aka he got Brock'd. He was hunting down Werdum like a snake and showed great focus, but he got ing Brock'd.
I still believe in Fedor, this was freakish as but props to Werdum for setting up that trap.

Fedor with a huge mistake. Early in the round he got caught in triangle, no sweat so not big of a chance to escape. Tough to watch.

This loss can be good for Emelianenko. Maybe he will try to fight best specialist in boxing, JJ and other seperate combat sports.

It was such a short fight, so little damage done on either side, that unless Fedor had a previous condition he could probably fight on another card in 2 months. Rogers/Lashley/Batista evenThen again, Strikeforce doesn't mind giving le shots to people that lost their last match.
I'm still feeling bad, this was a real needless loss. Fedor was so smart and patient for his entire career, then all of the sudden he forgets who he is fighting (a BJJ Ace that wants to take you to the ground)? He either wanted to send a message or wanted to get caught like that...it just boggles my mind.
Fedor isn't the super an that many have made him out to be. I don't think he could beat Lesnar or Carwin.
Brock'd is right, Stringer. That just looked like a bully used to having his way and having no clue about jiu-jitsu or anything else. Just sloppy and reckless.
I guess that's what happens when you get comfortable with your opposition. A caliber of opposition he got comfortable with because he was at a lesser promotion not fighting the best.
