Cause FTs aren't the "stuff".![]()
It's just not fun to watch an uncontested shot. Besides, you still find out if they made it or not by the crowd's reaction.
There's something to be said for lip-reading!
On another note: Am I the only one who gets pissed when the camera pans to the bench, or a coach, or an owner, while somebody's shooting a FT? It just boils me! I have this ritual I go through with Duncan at the line and I know it's just stupid supers ion, but I figure that if I can guide him through it, he'll make the shot.
But all that aside, aren't foul shots as much a part of the game as floor action? Why do we have to look at something else as though FTs don't matter? God knows FTs mattered a lot in Game 3.
Anybody have an opinion on this odd bit of neglect from the networks?
