Pop telegraphed last year that Mahinmi was out when Pop said Spurs wouldn't be picking up his option. Mahinmi was just practice meat. Maybe he'll get a chance to play somewhere in NBA, or go back to Europe. What a waste of time all around.

Let me get this straight, the idea of RJ doing the Spurs a solid by opting out and re-signing a more palatable (albeit long term) deal is horrible, you are all upset about losing an obvious turkey like Mahinmi, but you are OK with the possible return of the big, red waste of bench space?
