    Different scenarios. Stephen Jackson, when he left, was still young, and wanted to prove he had the talent to be more than what he was in San Antonio. Richard Jefferson, on the other hand, is going to be 30 years old and obviously turned down the 15 million for long term security. If he signs a one-year deal, I am going to laugh till my jaw hurts.

    I think a trade is very reasonable. I just don't think a TP trade is reasonable unless it is a steal.

    However, if Hill or Blair or using some of our un-guaranteed contracts can net us something nice, I am all for it.

    Because he would rather go to a bad team, get as many touches as he wants and score as many points as he wants a la Milwaukee? (or as Jax in Atlanta) His stock only has gone down playing for the Spurs and there's no reason to think it won't keep on sinking.
    That's a valid point and you may be right IF he can find a scrubby team that will choose him as their go-to guy.
