Even if he doesn't play a down, adding only Gonzalez back widens the gap even more.

Facts are facts, and the team to beat in the AFC is Indy, not Baltimore and especially not New England. Are they even going to finish higher than 3rd in their division?

tbh getting Gonzalez back is only gonna take away time from THAT Garçon

  6. #31
lol thinking Anthony Gonzalez is going to give them so much more than Austin Collie, Dallas Clark and Pierre Garcon did last year.

lol there being a wide gap between Indy and New England when New England at one point had a 13 point lead in the 4th quarter against them in Indy

lol I know dirk4mvp is gonna respond to this with something about how New England still lost when that has nothing to do with the argument

gonzalez will take catches away from collie, not garcon

garcon is the no 2 wr in camp and i doubt he loses that job

lol thinking adding Gonzalez back to the receiving corp. doesn't make them that more dangerous

lol there not being an even wider gap getting a healthy team back after a 14-2 season, against a 10-6 Pats team that got the dog kicked out of them in the wildcard playoff game against a team the Colts regulated the next week

    lol wrong

the gap looks even considerably wider when you factor in the Colts pulled the starters in the last 2 games

What's funny is thinking that Anthony Gonzalez will be an upgrade over Collie when Gonzalez has never put up as many yards or touchdowns as Collie as last year.

They could stick Devonne Bess in at the #2 and Manning would get him 85-1100-6tds, tbh.

Collie looks like odd man out, imo. Garcon has some wheels and Gonzalez looks like he could have Welker potential.

lol thinking that getting their dime receiver back will make a huge difference

lol ignoring the fact that 10-6 team could have easily beat that 14-2 team in that 14-2 team's stadium

    lol huge homer

No tbh. I decided to go check the numbers since you and JT are acting like having Gonzalez back to take Collie's role will make a huge difference.

tbh he does a little more than catch screens. and Gonzalez has never been owned by the Texans.

    lol texans

tbh he was owned by Bernard Pollard. Bernard Pollard > Tracy Porter

What do you not understand about adding a quality WR only makes a team better?

What do you not understand about how that receiver doesn't make the team that much better when it already has 3 other receivers and 1 tight end who are better options. Props to the Colts, Anthony Gonzalez is best 5th option Peyton has ever had!

tbh they have, it might be neck and neck if Rex Ryan figures out you can't herp derp blitz every play herp derp. Especially a QB as sophisticated as the great Peyton Manning.
