Can we finally stop randomizing the order of the 250 draft?
I didn't think it was fair to have the #1 pick coming off of consecutive les.
IIRC, I'm pretty sure we talked about this last year, no?
Fantasy Football is always a crap shoot where anyone can be bad or good one week. Our leagues have it so the top 2 teams get bye weeks in the first round so a strong regular season record is rewarded. If you finish 3rd or 4th, you have to earn your way to the next round. (BTW had to email Yahoo because I didn't see where I could adjust playoffs for by weeks.)
We've traditionally had 6 team playoffs and it's worked for us.
If this doesn't meet your personal criteria for FF and you want to play somewhere else, I completely understand.

Plus, I'm pretty sure we have a solid core of perennial players where worst to first would make sense.
I never heard any mention of this. Why would the $250 draft not be randomized? It's a redraft league.
We're keeping it random. You're always welcome to trade draft picks.
Just as an aside - in theory, there's no fair way to be non-random about a redraft. For one, we never have the entire league return so that would alter things on multiple levels. Secondly, the league starts over every year so no value carries over.
I didn't realize you'd won #1 pick twice in a row on your way to les. While it's obviously a boost to get major talent, you would never have won if not for some great later picks and good team management.
Maybe it was talked about in my other league.
To me, it doesn't really matter.
I'll also throw my name as an alternate in the $25 league, I'm already in for the $50, just waiting for that league to fill. Come on people!!

I'm interested in defending the championship in the $50 league. Only problem is that I need to draft by Aug 30 due to travel schedule. I see you have drafts prelim setup for Sept 4 and 5. If that changes to a week earlier i can make it Kris.

Ya before August 30th would be tight for me 2. I'll be studying abroad in Madrid,Spain from 30th of this month till December and the draft at 7 here would be 4:30 am there,and finding wi-fi at that hour of the day may be hard
Ok $50 has been changed to August 28. With 2 people lobbying for pre-August 30 and one of them being defending champ, I wanted to make the change if I could. No one else specified being against August, only time restrictions. This will also give breathing room between the drafts.
This draft has been changed but it's highly unlikely I make another alteration.

Can you move up $25 league cause a couple of us were talking and thought August 28th would be best 2 for $25 league
As it's already closed with 2 alternates, I'm going to keep it as is. I'm mainly trying to fill up the leagues as fast as possible.

I don't understand the first part of this. I know it's not the most convenient time for you, but the league is full and I did the best I could with the information given. Like I said, I can't accommodate everyone. If you can't make the draft, I completely understand.
On changing the $250, is there any other time after 6pm you can make it? If not, I will PM/email the rest of the participants and see if they can make a newly scheduled date/time.
Just read this again. Rather than me picking out dates, can you tell me definite times/dates on weekends (about 3.5 hour block) that you could make?
Sorry, I know it's a pain in the ass and it's not entirely my doing. This is why I hate standing up in weddings, but that's a story for another day.
I can do the 5th if you push it back a little later say 7:30-8ish CST.
