Eh. I'll make a prediction after I see Texas' first game. Their defense will be top 3 in the country but the offense....

And there is no way the Nebraska is beating them. I hope that UT walks into Lincoln, lays a beat down, and then punks them again in the championship for a "get the out of our conference" gift.

I think the offense should be alright. I think Gilbert will be a stud.

Texas' offense is where I have doubts, especially along the offensive line. That unit has been all kinds of suck recent years and these 2010 and 2011 classes look to be where the big impact players are for that unit. I'm not sold on what they have right now as non freshman though. Also, RB is an issue as they have a ton but not any great ones. Maybe Traylon Shead comes in and does some things as RB is the one position where a true freshman can step in and kick ass, buy I'm not sold either. I'm thinking 2011 or 2012 if GG stays are where the true NC favorite teams will be, especially with Malcolm Brown coming.

That said the defense will be absolutely sick, vicious, possible 1 or 2 in the nation. If GG and the oline and backs and a couple of receivers step up then they could run the table with that defense locking things down. A lot of ifs though.

I wanna say the Ags go 9-3. I really, really do. But that'd be going with my heart--my head says 8-4, with losses coming against texas, OU, NU, and either tech or baylor. Tech's looking for redemption from last year, and we're baylor's super bowl now, so I know for a fact they get geeked up for that game in waco (used to live in waco).

FWIW I think A&M will lose to OU, NU and Arky. Not 1 bit scared of Baylor even if the game is at Kyle field north. Tech could be close but with it being Tubbs' first year and the game being played at Kyle, I will go with A&M. Texas could be a stretch but I think we take them

If it's ever fair to say A&M has a decent shot at a good season, then this is the time.

They could get up to 8 wins this year.

We will learn alot about A&M and Nebraska by the time conference play starts. They both have alot of question marks and we don't know how good they really will be.

Let's see Jerrod Johnson win a game that is televised (or at least cut the margin of defeat to less than 50 points) before we take a sip from the aggie kool aid.

I don't know what to think. I think our offense gives us a chance to beat everyone, but our D makes it possible to lose 5 or 6. I really don't see A&M losing to tekk, baylor or osu nor should they. I'll go with 9-3, 10-2 our absolute best and 7-5 worst.
