I for one was realy surprised to find out how many people don't wear Spurs jerseys to the games.
It's too damn hot in San Antonio to wear a suit.

It's a crying shame, really![]()
Do you remember Cottonball marketing theme?
It almost sounds/looks like "shut up", which is a pretty cool theme....
"Why did it just cost $600 to take my family to a game?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Why are the foul rules geared to protect the league's stars at the expense of true compe ion?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Why do so many players act like prima donas and have bad at udes towards the fans who support them?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Does anyone else think George Gervin could average 60 points a game in today's non-hand checking league and that the Kobe/Lebron's are merely lucky to be playing now?"
"SHUT UP!"
"Sadly, there will never be another Bruise Brothers."
"SHUT UP!"
It totally works for me.
I prefer "SHUT UP!" too. Could be useful here on ST.
Whining Spurs fan: "Blalalalala....."
"SHUT UP!"
Damn when did you turn into a cranky old fart?
Do they want their fans to dress well or are they supposed to show up expecting Pop will pat them on the butt and tell them to get into the game for Manu?
I don't like giving fans too much ownership. Ownership around here allowed a fan to throw a cup of beer. There's a sense of en lement that comes from the organization telling you that it's "all about you, it's all for you, this is your team" for basically worshiping the fans for throwing money at the team. So, no. I don't like it.
They should encourage philanthropy. I don't know if this comes with this, but something like this should be about teaming up for a better world, using the Spurs as a catalyst for that. I don't think this should be used to sell tickets.
Maybe it's meant to market the new uniforms.
