Yeah there's a double standard. But it's better than everyone being consistently over-sensitive across the board. As long as both sides keep trying to one-up each other on finding racism in innocent remarks, political over-correctness is here to stay.

His name is Sanchez and he's given leeway to ad-lib on-air (no way that ramble and stutter is scripted). Yes, there is a double-standard. Whitey says that and isn't CNN's "street cred" with middle-America, he'd be out the door. Wolf Blitzer would be suspended because he's a reporter. Sanchez is horrible. Horrible. Fire him, but not because of this.
