No, now it's VAN EARL WRRRRHERE THE FU^& DID MY HOUR GO IN SAN ANTONIO......
Definitely a tough time. It splits the drivetime, which isn't conducive to anyone. That's why this will probably turn out to be a great move for everyone.I'm just saying that 2-5 is a tough hour for a radio show, ratings aside.
No, now it's VAN EARL WRRRRHERE THE FU^& DID MY HOUR GO IN SAN ANTONIO......
So does that mean no Don Harris during the morning STSA show? Please say yes Pete!
Yeah what happened to Tony Bruno that VAN EARL WRRRRIGHT took over?
Tony is now on with the Sporting News
I don't forsee Don being a part of the morning show, but that may mean a slightly larger part in the afternoon show.
TBD
Where can you catch his show? Online? Satellite Radio?
I quit listening to the Extravaganza a few weeks after Van Earl Wright took over.
Tell him Mickey said wassss sup ..

I know it's drivetime and all but I would rather keep czaban and have the moring show on from 8-11. The extravaganza consists of them laughing maniacally at unfunny events in their lives. As for afternoon ..i will miss being able to listen to local stuff at 2 pm...
2-6 would be great as baseball will cut many shows short.
You need to pick up The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
an 8-11 would be great for the show, czaban's show was entertaining to listen to. the extravaganza now is trying to carry on what Bruno left behind. as for your quote on them laughing manically at unfunny events in their lives, remember STSA when Don and Walter did it? About the same way. I won't miss local stuff in the 2pm hour, FSR was great. Baseball will cut into the Thompsons' show also during their new hours.
Nope.Went out of my way not to listen to them. It's been only the past 3 weeks that I've begun listening to them again...and it's mainly due to them resorting quite a bit of time to the Spurs.
Czaban is a tool...I won't miss him at all.
well for people whos teams are STILL in it, yeah Ill miss it.I won't miss local stuff in the 2pm hour
I wish they could add a show from 2 to 4
and make the STSA from 7 to 11
Van Earl Wright is unlistenable.
well if Tony Bruno is 6 to 10 am on Sporting News then its wrong, cause im listening right now and its Jeff Rickard.
I think Tony is just local right now.
I will but then again, for me the more local the better.I won't miss local stuff in the 2pm hour
I could listen to dead air longer than I could to VEW and the new Extravaganza.
ive bought a rugged XM radio just for my shop area, i couldnt stand it any longer.
I listen to Mike & Mike, Colin Cowherd, Dan Patrick, then STSA and Hardcore.
Hardcore Sports being my favorite out of ALL of those.
No crap. I turned it on between 7:20 - 7:50 (my drive time), and the assholes are talking about a torn ACL... except, they didn't know what exactly it was. So they started listing all the parts of the leg they could think of: ligaments, muscles, bone, arteries, etc. It had to be one of the most inane things I've listened to since you could tell they didn't know what the they were talking about.
I was especially pissed, because I wanted to hear more about how Tim and Manu were doing after last night.
the extravaganza is horrible. STSA in the mornings is great.
Fox Sports Radio sucks completely now, letting Bruno go and mixing up the morning show like that ruined it, alot of Markets i wouldn't be surprised are dropping that garbage that is the Van Hurl Wright Extravaganza, its sad some places are even going in favor of "dead" air america radio over Fox Sports Radio.![]()
Aww Mikey, Czaban is cool. Granted he goes a little overboard with his Simpsons' stuff, but it's a lot better than Van Earl's show. The show that really kicks butt is "The Third Shift" with Jorge Sedano from 1am to 5am. It's a great show. The only time it hits a snag is when Sedano goes off into his Miami Heat rant, (cause he covers the Heat for a radio station there) but other than that, it's a great show.
It will be interesting to see if Vex and Walter can capture what Charlie Parker had when he hosted the morning show in the mid-90's.
