How many Larry O'Briens would the Spurs have if:

    A) Spurs resigned Steven Jackson to a 4-5 year deal in the summer of 2003.

    B) Spurs signed Scola in Summer of 2006 or 2007.

Two biggest blunders in franchise history were these two nut ups

I say Spurs would have won 5 straight from 2003-2004-2005-2006-2007 and possibly in 2008.

I say Tim and the Spurs would have at least 6 les if R.C made the most out of the talented prime big 3 he had.

    What do you think?
what if we don't always show our Spurs autism syndrome by acting as if all other teams didn't as well try and work hard.
it's especially helpful to extend the what if game to the own team. so, what if the Spurs pay big bucks to Sjax in 2003 and therefore don't have enough money in 2004 to re sign Manu (who walks to Denver to play with Melo). how many rings did we win then genious?

what if Shaq doesn't eat that burger in 2002 and decides to stay in shape? what if the Lakers don't blow it 2004, kick the ass of Kobe and Shaq to get them to work, re sign Horry 2003, draft Howard and Vareao 2003 and 2004 and sign James Posey 2003? where are our 2005 and 2007 rings?
what if Pistons drafts Wade 2003? can anyone see a more dominant back court than Billups + Wade for years to come?
or what if Pistons draft Melo? Bosh?
what if Mavs re sign Nash 2004, draft Igoudala instead of Harris, don't do the pathetic Dampier S&T, sign McDyess. (Nash-Iggy-Howard-Dirk-Dice. you get the idea)

Derek Fisher lucky shot and a Ginobili foul is all that kept the Spurs from striking oil 2003-2007.

No way the Spurs would have beaten the Lakers in 2008 with the rigged Gasol trade in place.

Scola to Rockets = biggest up in Spurs history. I don't care about who was already signed or coming down the pipline or how much money the Spurs got, it doesn't matter. No explanation will satisfy any Spurs fan because it's a nonhealing wound.

It won't go away until Scola is retired or begins to suck, which won't be for a long time.

And if wishes were horses, beggars would ride!

If...if....if.....does not mean that certain things would occur as wished.

And we need to move on from letting Scola go.....it is over!!
