selling out when you suck just means that your team can go right on sucking, profitably.

props to charger fans showing some indifference to this slightly-above-average team that was, just a few years ago, the youngest and most talented team in the league

    you AJ
You're an idiot if you actually believe this.

Jerrah is, as previously mentioned, one vote....Bob McNair in Houston is another vote but that is 2 out of 32. If people believe Jones would be against a team in SA because it would take away from his team, why do people not believe that the Texans owner would be against it for the same reason? Houston is closer and while the Texans do not have the fanbase in SA that Dallas does...they do have fans there and there are people in SA who will travel regularly to Houston for a game. I agree with Bresilhac that San Antonio can support a team. I just don't see it happening anytime soon.

He was referring to the statement you made that Randy Moss had 13 touchdowns last season merely because he was tall, and also the fact you said Malcolm Floyd = Randy Moss.

oh yeah, in the Pats system, Floyd would put up almost the same numbers as Moss (now, in Moss's post-prime). I don't think I attributed it to height though, height is a factor, but it has more to do with System, QB, the WR lined up on the other side, etc.

It doesn't sound any less stupid than it did last year.

How do you explain the numbers Julian Edelman put up when Welker was injured last year? Welker is a product of the system (just like Troy Brown was before him), the Patriots system/Brady has always inflated the out of the slot receiver numbers, but the numbers Moss puts up are legit. There's a reason Welker becomes an afterthought in the red zone when it's harder to get open underneath while Moss is still worth defending, and there's a reason Welker had never sniffed 1,000 yard receiving seasons before coming to New England. Getting behind defenses like Moss does has nothing to do with the system and every bit to do with how good he still is.

actually deep threats have had very little success under Brady/Belichick.

Bethel Johnson, Chad Jackson, Donte Stallworth, Doug Gabriel, a few others all failed.

I think this has less to do with ability and more because Brady has a horribly inaccurate deep ball. Randy Moss has been the one deep threat with the football IQ and talent to figure out where the Brady is putting that thing.

I hated that in bug eyed look the camera would zoom in on every time he would do something re ed. I musta seen that look 3 different times in the 2nd half of the AFCCG that year.

basically what this all means is that Malcolm Floyd would suck less on the Patriots than he does right now in San Diego, but he still wouldn't be anywhere near as good as Moss.

not that i know of. Pats fans back in 06 masturbated to Chad Jackson offseason workout vids almost as hard as Cowboy fans did with Dez Bryant.

The best thing he did for them was at the trade deadline in 06 he made a public statement about how underrated and misunderstood Moss was and that he'd be a great fit in New England and would flourish here. For all we know those comments stuck with BB and influenced his decision to trade for Moss several months later, in the off chance that happened I'll somewhat appreciate THAT Doug Gabriel.

At least THAT Doug Gabriel continues to prove Belichick has a fetish for large black men with dreadlocks. Seriously, how come every brotha on the Patriots has dreads?
