But how?![]()
I disagree vehemently, its this guy:

Not bad....
But PK is better![]()
Agree to disagree.
Dont get me wrong, PK Subban is the and I would be geeked if the Wings had a young, stud defensemen like him.
But Kane is literally on another planet, IMO. He might be the best player in his draft.
To be fair, I havent watched a lot of Kings games, so you must be right since you get to watch more Western conf games
Youre such a noob.
Thats Evander Kane. Plays for the Thrashers. 4th overall pick in 2009.
Kings top of the league

Aw
I know that
I'm just ing tired, too many late nights in MTL![]()
Not anymore
Habs![]()
You think the NHL would let the Pens wear their away white's for every game this year? Maybe if they have on the white's at home, they'll play like they're on the road.

For your consumption, I straight hijacked this from another board.

This kid is good, real good. I'm not sure people realise just how good he will be.
He's 22, and will be on the Wings roster next season. He's 5'11", but size isn't an issue. In his early days with thhe Griffins he was bumped off the puck too easily and was quite often a healthy scratch. In his rookie season he played as a 4th liner and for the majority of the season he was on a line with Downey. In a way, it forced him to become more gritty, more physical, not that he didn't have those attributes already. Rookie season numbers were 2-7-9, and if the ECHL were in existance that season, chances are he would've been sent down there. His second year with the Griffins was always going to be his make or break year, but at ude has never been in question...
In 2009/10 he finished third in team scoring and second in goals, his numbers were 24-18-42. Had an insane patch where he scored 12 goals in 18 games and was basically the sole provider of the Griffins offence. He dried up in the latter stages of the season when injuries hit in GR and Detroit, but when they regained some members (mainly Abdelkader), in the final 9 games of the season he had 7 points. At the end of the season, he was called up to the Wings serving as a Black Ace. Not before that, however, he had 5-2-7 for Slovenia at Pool B world championships."Remember, the first year with this kid, he had chances every night he played, but he couldn't find the back of the net," Fraser said. "But he didn't stop working, off the ice and in the gym. He didn't let things bother him, he just kept moving forward."
Coming into the current season, his third and last as being waiver exempt, he performed strongly in the pre-season for the Wings. He featured in the Wings last PS game and was the last to be sent to GR. I'm not entirely sure what to make of this quote (after a Detroit PS game):
Bab likened the young forwards to longtime grinders Kris Draper and Kirk Maltby, seeing them as future replacement parts."I thought Cory Emmerton and (Mursak) were fantastic today,'' Bab said. "Both look like they're going to play and really push our guys, which is a great thing.''
Surely we should be setting higher goals for a guy like Mursak? I'm not sure how that quote came about, whether he specifically mentioned Jan as a replacement for the aforementioned grinders. To me, Mursak's got second line potential, and we should be viewing this kid as a 25 goal, 50 point player. I'd love to see him on a line with Abdelkader and Hudler next season on the 3rd line. I just hope our brainstrust don't have him pegged as a grinder and just a grinder, to me he's a gifted scorer with a game that also translates well to the bottom 2 lines.
So far this season he has 6G, 4A for 10 points in 9 games. He’s amongst the league leaders in:
* T-1st shorthanded goals (2)
* T-5th in goals (6)
* T-7th point streak (6)
* T-7th goal streak (3)
* T-14th total points (10)
He's got insane speed, I mean on speed alone he could probably force his way into the NHL. He's got a great shot, and he's not afraid to go hard to the high traffic areas to score. He plays a physical game, he throws massive hits, he's a bit like Helm in a way, but possesses a more well-rounded offensive game. Terrific hands and playmaking abilities; he can weave through traffic with ease, he can kill penalties, and he can fight, and fight well:
The reaction of his teammates at 0:44 shows you how much it meant to them.
Here's another fight:
(DR Edit: LOL @ the vid le. The other kid's last name is not Testicle)
He probably lost but his ability to hang in there against a guy who is an experienced fighter, good stuff.
So, what do others feel his NHL potential is? He's got to be firming as our best prospect, at least in the top 2 or 3 along with Smith and Nyquist. I can't wait until this kid makes his NHL debut, he's got that little special something about him.
[/hijack]
Mr. Mursak will be with the Wings as a Black Ace these playoffs and may even find time on the ice as a regular if someone in the lineup isnt peforming. He'll be a Wing full-time next year so long as he doesnt completely fail in the preseason.
If youre interested what Wings fans think about him

Yeah, whoever uploaded that video must think theyre comedians or something. The guy he is fighting is not named testicle.
Ah, OK
Testicle hits the opponent's head
Testicle forechecks hard
Testicle in the locker-room
Testicle wrister
Testicle hits the board (ouch)
TSN highlight of the night : testicle
Thanks for that, obviously the kid has skill, that was never disputed. Hope he makes it to NHL (even if that means he, like Kopitar, is lost for our national team).
Are the Phoenix Coyotes any good? They're second to last in the Pacific. The San Antonio Rampage is their farm team.
They have had quite a few injuries this season; especially Shane Doan
Last season, they finished in the top 4 in the West.
They have last season's Coach of the Year, and one of the best goalies in the NHL (Bryzgalov)
Cool. Maybe I'll checkout some of their games.
If you like hockey, you should. Phoenix plays a tough brand of hockey, very measured and methodical. Physical, too. I would say theyre entertaining.
Moreover, theyre in a great division (minus Anaheim, it seems) so you'll see a lot of good teams like LA, San Jose and Dallas.
