Bogans To Start For Bulls Over Brewer
    Oct 25, 2010 5:16 PM EST

Keith Bogans will be the starting shooting guard for the Bulls to begin the 2010-11 season.

Bogans beat out Ronnie Brewer, who suffered a hamstring injury during the preseason.

"He's just been solid," coach Tom Thibodeau said.

"He's done all the things we expected of him. He's a very good defensive player, spreads the floor so he can shoot the 3. He's a tough compe or. He's earned it."

Bogans started 59 games for the Spurs last season. He was signed as a free agent to provide leadership, defense and 3-point shooting.

I wonder how many vintage 1-5/1-6 type games Thibodeau will swallow before replacing Bogans with Brewer....I'm gonna say 9 games.

Brewer fits in that starting lineup better IMO, can run the floor, bigger & more athletic, finishes at the rim 100X better.

I picked Kurt Thomas just because he is a better player than anyone else on this list . . . by a mile.

    Bogans a starter again?

Oh well get ready for his 0-4 3 pt shooting and getting killed by whoever he's defending. But I gotta say Nazr. Like someone mentioned, he will get more playing time since Chandler, Dampier, and Ratliff are all gone. KT has some left in the tank too but i expect him to play less better than he did in Milwaukee.

Then I would say Bogans simply because he is starting in Chicago for now. He will have one good game where he hits 3's or defends well then go back to being Keith Bogans the next. Then Oberto. Portland needs their bigs anyway.

And it should come to no surprise that Mason will do the worst. His game is so one dimensional that he should be very easy to defend. Plus he's already starting to stink it up in preseason.

This list is missing Ian Mahinmi and Drew Gooden.

I voted Mason simply because he's got the most time/chances left. They all suck really.
