the 80's was a badass time for pop music. imho, with the exception of the beatles in the 60's, the 80's are the best pop music decade ever.

the 90's started off with gay ass afrocentric r&b crap, then ended with nsync and britney spears and even gayer .
the 00's are just gy from start to finish

Other than the gy disco stuff, the 70's had some great rock stuff. Boston, Kansas, Styx, Alan Parsons Project, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult, and Electric Light Orchestra. But yeah when it comes to pop, the 80's and 60's had the best stuff.
