son the Hornets should take this game by about 15pts ... if not more. the real game starts next. the first half is just a bunch of foolishness for the most part.

I have faith...no way Hornets don't improve on 38% shooting

Why can't Ariza shoot? All he is getting is good looks? Also, surprised to see Boom Dizzle back. His energy looks better...
son he is slowly starting to show some signs of scoring for us (Heat game) ... but he still appears to be struggling a bit. However as long as he stays healthy, he SHOULD do nothing but get better because thanks to King Paul he will have wide open shots all year long. Its up to him to knock them down and I think he will.

exactly son ... so sit back, relax, and go crack open another beer. Plus King Paul needs to have a 25-30pt game tonight because his scoring numbers have been slacking a bit. He is only averaging 18.7ppg and 10.2apg right now which is unacceptable for him ... the assist are fine and once Rondo comes back down to reality he will regain the lead, but his points per game needs to get back over 20ppg. he knows that.

sons what most people are failing to notice about Ariza is that he fills a huge gap that we have lacked for years .... he can actually play defense and efficiently guard some of the top players in the NBA ... which is something that Peja could only dream about. Hence why Peja hasn't played a single minute since about the 2nd game of the season. Between Ariza, Belinelli, Thornton, etc. ... there just simply is no time to waste on putting Peja in and hoping that he can hit a couple 3pt shots. He is too much of a defensive liability to even play.

I notice what Ariza does, but his value to the Hornets takes a hit if he is not shooting well, especially from 3.

It takes a hit, but not a big hit. His main job is to defend. If he can just settle for the wide open threes and dunks, his FG% will be high. He needs to stay away from mid-range shots.

If Bayless can play like this consistently off the bench, the Hornets will be really dangerous. He's so important this season.

son Coach doesn't want to waste a lot of our starters minutes on garbage teams like the Clippers. 30min at most.

son how much did you win tonight? Coach only played Paul for 27min and he still put up 13 and 8 ... really no reason to waste his talents on trash teams like the Clippers you know?

Nice to see the bench finish the 4th quarter. Bayless with 15 pts, 9 assists. Green with 19 points. Rookie SF Pondexter with 7 off the bench. Nice win.

Portland will be a tough matchup. Need our bench to step up and our shooters to make their shots. Defense will be fine. This game will be a grind since both teams like to slow the pace.

son our bench is very solid. its nice to have a solid bench when against garbage teams like the Clippers so that Paul and the starters don't have to play much.
