Look, if you are going to go on in Jeopardy and don't even brush up on current events is in stupid.
Ten in minutes on the internet and you would be pretty much up to date on something as simple as a teams most accomplished player.
I don't know about a lot of things but if I were about to go on national TV and represent my peers, my school, my in' age group for chrissakes...
you bet your ass I would brush up on the current in' news of the day.

You beat me to it.
And y'all are taking it way too seriously. It's a game show.
Either way-if you could not answer that simple question-you are pretty clueless.
Stupid enough that you shouldn't be on jeopardy- or even in in' college for that matter.
I think you're overreacting just a scoach...I couldn't name the top player on 80% of NHL teams, does that mean I'm clueless?
And I couldn't tell you about football or baseball. I didn't even realize the Rangers were in the World Series until they lost. And I'm far from clueless. I'm f'in brilliant.![]()
I don't know why but noone is pissing me off every time
As am I.![]()
CoM cheap shot.

I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt...
I just bet that if you knew you would be on Jeopardy in January 2011-that you would absolutely KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt- that the rangers were in the series, every football teams qb, and every mlb city,coach,mascot,etc...
by January 2011.
That is a valid point.
Even Trebek was like "Wrong team dumbass" when the dude said Carmelo Anthony.
I'm constantly wondering--and I mean actually pondering--how people go through life without learning things that seem like they should be common knowledge. Like that woman who said "soy jism" on the morning news. It really bugs me.

Yet more evidence of that marketing failure: Someone claiming to be an NBA fan who hangs out on a message board for Duncan's small market team repeats the same stupid ESPN does. I guess we should wish Duncan had so much personality that his shoe company would have muppets portray him.
Per some posts above the show's host also inanely mimiced* some of the uninformed media in their lack of respect to call him a PF: Duncan is officially regarded by the NBA AS A FORWARD:

Still no excuse to miss the player SI correctly called the best of the last decade!
*But he gets an alibi by laughing at the stupid clown who said Anthony!
It's college edition. They're almost always dumbasses who get asked easier questions. An actual jeopardy contestant would have had that.
Still not as bad as this:

I think you're taking this way too personally imo...I already said I appreciate his game and think he's quite possibly the best PF in the game. Truth be told he's rather bland when it comes to marketing. That's no fault to him, he's reserved and handles his business the right way. I'm sure he's "playful" and good-humored when around the fellas, but fact of the matter is in most media interviews he's pretty monotonous. He'll get the praise long after he's retired (a la Bill Russell). He was a lot more marketable when he was paired with D-Rob...what was that insanely gay commercial they did together around '99? "The roses are out timmy, not the daises."..."more lemonade?"
Funny, but so sad, so very sad, from a basketball junkies pov.
Don't act like you're not trying to be an insulting bag and then say that the commercial he did was "insanely gay".
I'll be really interested in your explanation how Kobe Bryant is such an interesting personality and Duncan isn't.
Lmao at carmelo anthony!!! Hahahaha
You didn't find that commercial the slightest bit gay?
Kobe Bryant is interesting because he's the most polarizing NBA player of our generation...seriously, who comes close? Being accused of rape by the town also has made him a lightning rod for conversation.
Besides, it's all a moot point...I just find it funny that spurs fans feel butthurt when the layperson doesn't know who Duncan is. WGAF?
rotfl
take it easy on penya fellas
