I'd like to see/hear Malik and Sean at the same time, as in cram all 3 of them together. But that's probably not going to happen.
I like Bill Land. Not as much of a fan as the well meaning chipmunk little guy.

Lance blanks's explanations on what to look for and player's tendencies made me question how he got a job as a scout...
As long as they don't take Bill Land away. I actually love his game calling. Way better than Stockten and Joel Myers who are more widely known.
As a backup to Sean it's cool with me, better than Lance Blanks and Dan Hughes. Hughes bore the out of me and Blanks just sounded horrible.

On the NBA LP telecast, I've noticed that on some games, they've started providing dual telecasts, featuring both home and away broadcast teams - on separate channels, of course. For this contest, there are dual telecasts, but the same announcing team on both. Very strange.

Did Malik even talk tonight? Don't think I heard him say more than 5 sentances. There were long spans of just Bill Land.
He was a damned stutter machine. But he was probably nervous.

I enjoyed him. A little rough around the edges, but nothing putting in the reps won't take care of.
He's still pretty attuned to Pop and the Spurs' plays and defensive schemes and I thought he offered a good amount of insight at times -- plus he said it would really suck to lose a game you climbed back into after being down 20. Not sure why hearing the word "suck" amuses me in that format, but it did. I'm immature and not all that smart. I'm fine with that. Sue me, not that I have anything of value. But I digress . . .
