It could be because I have not given him much of a chance. I don't have the time and interest to really look for more of his . My first impression of him was not very good so I have not paid too much attention to his career. The one expletive filled bit I saw him in was just not that funny to me.

Yeah, an excerpt of a standup isn't very indicative of the comedian's work as a whole. You should try and be open minded and give something an honest chance before making an opinion.
