Who's going to force their will on the other in round 3??
Was impressed by Johnson in the first though. Just seems like he blew his cardio wad too early.
k, and you thought I was wrong about the judging (machida/rampage) that was no unanimous decision, WTF
Brookins is awesome but damn BOY gotta work on that stand-up. At least keep your chin down..
That said he is so talented with his wrestling/grappling i think he can dominate tons of UFC LW just with that.. He has a huge huge future IMO..
Weird because GSP was close to both guys in training but GSP doesn't train that much with Greg he is mainly with Firas in Montreal and Greg comes in to gameplan at some point. I'd love to see Brookins with GSP's camp but he's gotta choose his own path..
The only fight i watched was Nhan vs Garcia. I turned off the tv after the decision was made. WTF was that?
Good to know you are watching mma for refs and judges
How interesting of you to come to a conclusion like that.
Yes, the world is interesting when you try to make it interesting
I finally watched this last night.
Damn, Nam got robbed bad. Worst decision i have ever seen.
I thought Brookins would run all over MJ, but MJ came out very VERY improved. His striking was crisp, and very fast. I dont think ive ever seen a fighter improve that much that fast. Really good fight, Brookins did what he had to do to win, but i think both deserve a contract.
Oh and F Cody Mckenzie...That dude just annoys the living out of me, and how on earth do people keep sticking their heads right in his arm pit for him? Wilkinson acted like he was determined to keep his head firmly planted in place for the choke, regardless of what else happened. He had so many chances to just move...and he never did.
They scored the Nam fight just on aggression alone. Some were comparing it to the Page fight but the difference is Page was attacking when Lyoto was doing nothing except the occasional leg kick. Nam was countering with punches beautifully most of the fight..
Yea, i thought Nam played that wonderfully. He fought the fight he needed to, in order to counter a wild striker like that. He picked him apart standing, and there wasnt much of any ground game on either side to speak of.
It was fun to watch the other guy swing for the fences, he was letting it fly...but it wasnt doing anything at all.
