Tony would be a better option as 6th man at this point. But George is playing incredibly well, so if it ain't broke...
Yes
No
I said yes, but it's probably better to wait a little it and see.

I think a fortune cookie hacked your account.
Our bench is pretty good.... Nevermind that for the most part, Manu is still in the game when the bench comes in.
The question should be how the Spurs can lower Manu's minutes but still keep him in the starting linup as well as working with the bench.
+1
It's all about regulating Manus minutes going forward. Whether or not he's starting doesn't matter
would be nice to see the his teammates pick up the slack when he's on the court too. A lot of focus on Manu's mins . Rightfully so, but im more concerned that he's been forced to carry the team on offense the last handful of games. Too many glimpses of Manu going all-out which i would rather see him save for the play-offs.
When's the real Tony going to show up?
I'm tired of talking about his minutes.
Tim has to play less minutes,Manu has to play less minutes.........who is going to play?
We have to win the games. It seems that we are the ing Dream Team so we can give rest to everybody because nobody can't defeat us. Maybe we can sit Manu until February.
Right now TD is playing less minutes than ever. That's good but you can't do it with the 2 best players of the team. And what about Tony? he has to play less minutes to be fresh in the playoffs. And Hill?
C'mon..they aren't playing 40 minutes per game like Gasol.Let Pop do his work.
Myn fricking and 1 since forverer
By mid-season Manu and Tim should sit out back to backs. The West playoffs are loaded all the way around. Anything is possible! Doesn't really make much difference where we finish as long as the B3 are ready to roll in April.
No. Like somebody already said - if it aint broke, don't fix it. You will be messing with Manu, George as well as the first 5 chemistry.
True that. COM should really stand for two things. Church of Manu and Church of Mins.
Yes. It's time for Manu to be the 6th man again. I'd take the early chemistry problem than fatigue come the latter part of the season/playoffs/finals(IF).
Now if Pop does this, please don't overdo it like what you did last year.
Pop can manage Manu's minutes as a starter. He is doing fine with Tim. Manu said he wanted to have a strong start as a team so that we were not fighting and killing ourselves to make it into the playoffs as an 8th seed. Manu asked for the responsibility and now he is getting it. He is not going 40 minutes a game, he will live.
Time to Move Ginobili Back to the Bench?
Wait until we start losing and … yes .. why not.
I don't understand why people want Manu to go back to the bench when they're talking about protecting his minutes and him. It's not going to help. In fact it will hurt him more. Manu feels more pressure and plays a lot harder (risking injuries) when he has to come off the bench. Now that he's a starter he's playing with Tim and Tony and is able to pace himself better. Have you noticed how more relaxed and more energy he is when he doesn't have to go all out from the moment he steps in?
Why people thing that is necessary that Manu should come off the bench to limit his minutes? He can be a starter and his minutes can still be managed. Being a starter and playing time are two different/independent things
He won't last through May/June playing more than 25 minutes per game. And even then he will get injured at some point.
A dude like Manu doesn't come around very often. Argentines are crazy about sports in general, so it's no surprise we're really proud of Manu...frankly, any Spur fan can say that. He's also the reason why I began supporting the Spurs. I've essentially lived my entire life in the US, basketball has long been my favorite sport, and before Manu there had never been a star like him from Argentina in the sport. He played an enormous role in putting Argentina on the basketball map for a good amount of years, and this actually means something to me.
So, from my perspective, I don't see another Manu coming around for quite some time. Should I refrain from being such a big fan?
IMO Spurs are better having Hill off the bench because of versatility. He's young and can bring good energy.
Matt Bonner is the only person that needs a minute reduction.
Let Splitter get some experience.
