This thread, for instance. It's a wall of text, and you don't even give your take on it. I could post a wall of text too, but it in no way shows where I agree, disagree, etc etc.
Considering no government is actually doing anything meaningful now how could you even think that I would believe Libertarian government to be a step back? How exactly do you go lower than zero action?
For the record, the debate about AGW is a completely academic one. The political debate is long over and we'll be dealing with it instead of avoiding it. I've made that clear on several occasions but I'm not surprised you've missed that point. Indeed that is your MO.

WTF good is my take when it comes to some of the greatest minds that ever conceived of a political thought?
[Also: I know the stuff is dusty, and the tendency amongst the majority is to dismiss this as too old to matter, too out of touch to apply to today's society, etc...yet the problems we face are a direct result of that very tendency IMO]
Besides that, I could easily argue that my take is crystal clear already, and the wall of text clearly applies to my already established position.
Clearly, this thread is mainly about you.
Thanks for posting quotations from some of the greatest minds ever to conceive of a political thought. They appear to back you up... from a very great distance.
Do you like waving at them?
You could agree or disagree, for one thing. You could point out areas in which we no longer follow the founders. You could compare the way we dealt with things then to a current relevant political issue.
First, you throw out this "I know people dismiss these guys/stuff as too old/out of touch" when no one has yet, then you claim all the problems we face are a result of that tendency without illuminating why that is.
If your take is crystal clear, why the wall of text? Are you saying you don't have the ability to clearly define your own position, and so you let other writers do that for you?
I think he meant it's crystal clear to him.If your take is crystal clear, why the wall of text?
Did Ezra Benson's sententious anti-communist harangue, studded as it is with quotations from the greats, somehow fail to persuade you of the abstract and concrete desirability of "libertarian ideas"?
It left me cold, but seems to have ignited a small fire under Parker.
Let me know. I found the site a bit hard to navigate, but interesting nonetheless
I'm decidedly unwarmed.
