Game 3 of the 2002 ECF vs the Nets. Celts were down 26 early in the 3rd and rallied back to win. Pierce, Delk, Rodney Rodgers, Walker, Kenny Anderson etc were on the team that year.

Game 4 2008 Finals. That 24 point comeback in LA pretty much wrapped up the series

There a lot of good Mavs vs Spurs gems. from around 04/05 - 09/10 there were a lot of good ones, including nearly all of the 06 series classics.

    On the other hand:
in a crowded sports bar watching Duncan drain a shot over Shaq and the Lakers dream team and ready to get drunk with happiness when Fisher made the controversial 0.4 shot - that was the worst!
Same here, even called my friend in LA after that ridiculous circus shot by duncan during the ensuing timeout..... Yes I did answer the phone when he called me back a few seconds later (but after the 3rd ring )

Loved that game. Always remember 'Toine getting in Pierce's ear pumping him up and essentially pleading for him to save their ass. I had always like Pierce before, but I became a huge fan after that game and after the heart and will he displayed to keep driving the lane.

As for mine, I'd have to have a few categories.

Maybe my favorite is 2003's Game 6 in L.A. Tim put together maybe the most beastly of games ever played in a Spurs uniform, under the cir stance (venue and opponent). Looking back, it was the peak of his dominance -- and one that should have lasted a little longer had he not played summer ball the two following years and ac ulated the injuries and wear and tear. Still a beast after '03, but I'll always feel like we got robbed of seeing a year or two of his absolute peak.

Regular season game has to be Suns-Spurs in '05 for me. My boy had just got back from Iraq and we started getting absolutely blitzed as we saw the Spurs go down about 20 or so and end the third down 17. Basically threw in the towel. And then the Spurs (Manu) went nuts to come back and win the game in overtime. Just entertaining as , and the alcohol and my bro being back from Iraq only made it more so.

Also, one that some might not appreciate or remember, is a regular season game against the Lakers in '04 (which the Spurs actually lost). It was the first time we saw the player that Manu would become and realized he was more than just a pretty nice player. No Tim, No Tony, No Robinson ... the Lakers coming into the game with all the hype, the motivation of avenging last year's playoff loss and having their new "Big 4" intact, Manu singlehandedly manages to put the Spurs in a position to win -- having, IIRC, two shots at the buzzer just miss -- and only falling short after 2 OTs. Maybe it's just me, and maybe it's the fact that when you're accustomed to your team winning and being championship-caliber, but it almost seems like the games where your team is depleted and the expectations are out the window are the ones you find most enjoyable to watch. It's like unprotected, stress-free, no-consequence sex.

And of course there's the Memorial Day Miracle, Game 5 and 7 of the '05 Finals -- , any of the Finals-clinching victories (Kerr's Game 6 in Dallas was another one) -- but it's really like choosing between children. Ya know, it depends who has the hotter mother.

in Feb/Mar of 2007, a regular season Mavs/Suns game that went to double OT. I went to the game and it was probably the most entertaining game/atmosphere I've been to at the AAC, even if the Mavs lost.
I was bring up the same game. It's not often that I can remember exactly where I was when I was watching a regular season game, but this was easily the most exciting game of that year. Both teams wanted to win bad.

The fact that game is your favorite tells me you're a bandwagon Lakers fan who jumped on during the 3 peat. Or you're under 25 (which I won't hold against you).

Guess you and Shaolin were too coked up and busy with buttsex to see Magic's Game 6 against the 76ers, or the infamous baby hook over McHale and Parish.

Nope wrong assumptions on both counts.

Don't worry, psychotic weirdos with zero social skills usually aren't too perceptive so don't take it to heart.

This was probably the best game I've watched as a Mavfan. Game 3 in the Western Conference semis of 2003, very wild game.

The Mavs-Kings rivalry in the early decade produced the most entertaining games in the NBA at the time and this was probably the best one out of them all.

The .4 game actually sucked balls, tbh. Great last two shots, and maybe one of the most ridiculous finishes you're ever going to see under the cir stance, but the game was brutal -- just sloppy and not what I'd consider two of the best displaying why it was they were.

    73-74? Ugh . . .

The only thing that sucks more than the fact that Tim went and represented Team USA in Puerto Rico after winning the championship, and the fact that it led to him wearing down in '04, is the fact that all of those s that he helped lead to the destruction of the world in that tournament ed out and left him to get screwed with that '04 Olympic team.

Funny how everyone seems to forget how dominant that team was down in Puerto Rico before they sent that abortion of an assembled team to Athens and proclaimed the world had just gotten that much better. But I digress.

Favorite game that I attended was probably the Mavs-Spurs game when Dirk dropped 41.
Favorite game I watched was either Dirk dropping 50 on the Suns WCF or the Mavs-Kings game Bump posted. Nothing was more exciting then all the Mavs-Kings series. Such an electric atmosphere for every game.

How about in 07 when the #8 Warriors knocked off the #1 Mavericks??? (lmao, never ceases to amaze how hard Dallas chokes)

The Warriors arena was pretty damn eclectic throughout that entire playoff run if you ask me, remember the Boom-dizzle slam all over Kirilenko???

n Game 6, the Warriors used a third-quarter 18–0 run to eliminate the Mavericks and become the first #8 seed to beat a #1 seed in a seven-game series in one of the biggest upsets in NBA playoff history.
The Warriors went on to play the Utah Jazz in the second round of the 2006–07 playoffs, where they dropped two close games at EnergySolutions Arena to open the series. The series then shifted to the Oracle Arena, where the Warriors won Game 3 in a convincing blowout. Baron Davis scored 32 points and electrified the crowd with a monster dunk on Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko late in the fourth quarter.

Look at that place after the dunk, that Warriors run was awesome.

    Tie for me.

Game 5 of the Finals against the Pistons. The Horry dunk was amazing, I still think it was every bit as good a play as the trey he drained.

Game 1 of the Suns Spurs series. Don't need to list the year here. That game was absolutely ridiculous.
    This x1000

If I remember correctly, Horry tried another dunk that he bricked, but that one was practically from the free throw line. Was the most epic dunk ever missed.

Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz, May 5, 1995

Drexler dropped 41 points and Olajuwon dropped 40 points

...it was one of a game, but just one of many on that championship run.
That was a uva game. Great comeback too. Rockets had alot of great playoff moments in those back-to-back seasons.
